Ashi Jain's Review On PGDAV College, New Delhi

Wanted to study precisely in Delhi University. I got this college because of my score back in 12 boards and I wanted to pursue this course since I am preparing for another course called Acturial Science which involves heavy mathematics and statistics so for that this course was smooth to choose out of all.

The course especially mine that is maths hons. Is really appreciable in my college. The faculties are indeed good especially my current Calculus teacher, Geeta Ma'am. Also, our HOD, Gopal Dutt Sir was an incredible teacher and a human, he taught us the subject Real Analysis in second semester.

We quite have a many companies which visits for the placements, the names I can't exactly recall but yes I attended the annual placement fest of our college and it had many renowned companies and organizations.

It is fine, although I've not been a part of any society or clubs as of now in college but outside college I've been in other organizations and have been working there since they provide a much better exposure and experience. Though, in my initial days of college I was definitely interested to be in the drama/street play society.

I don't much like my College's infrastructure, it is really not up to the mark and they should really work on it ranging from sports to wifi to labs, classes, everything is really not to the expectations and not even a little to engulf as a college of Delhi University.

I've been living in a PG which is near to my college and almost for all the PGs in that area charges rentals approximately from 10-14k per month(including food) else it is 6-7k (excluding food). I don't much know about the hostel facilities but about the PG it is quite hectic to find according to your suitable conditions and terms. Also after living for a year in PG in my first year, I don't find PGs much comfortable to live in since I shared a room with two other people with me which is fine but the rooms are not that spacious plus it's really makes me feel suffocated and of course the bathrooms I am person who can't adjust with my hygiene requirements, I need everything clean and proper and PG is not a place where everything can be according to you so yes that's where I decided to live in a flat or a place of mine near my college since I couldn't adjust even with my PG uncle he was bizarre and odd so yeah.
