Ananya's Review On PGDAV College, New Delhi

The college is known for it's largest commerce department. It has very talented bunch of studnets involved in various societies (I'm in the music society). The faculty is very experienced and amazing canteen.

The course is very good it gives insight into all the aspects of commerce. It is especially good for those students who are still figuring out their career choices and wish to explore a little more rather than going into a particular course. The academic aspect of our college is quite goal oriented. The teachers focus on completion of syllabus and make sure the students understand everything. We also have tutorials i.e. doubt classes on saturdays so as to clear any doubts we have. The faculty is very experienced, dedicated and involved.

The companies that came in our college include delloite, EY, pwc UK, willis tower watson, jaro and many more. For the internship fair companies such as decathlon, aiesec, vls outsourcing, outlook, kind beings etc came. The placement cell plays an acyive role in bringing new opportunities for the students. The placement cell of pgdav college is highly appreciated and is doing a very good job.

PGDAV college provides ample of opportunities to students to have fun and learn at the same time. The commerce department organises some major events like the Youth Conclave, which only a few colleges in delhi university organises, Commquest- the annual commerce fest of pgdav college and other events. We have our annual fest- Aaghaz in which there are a variety of fests organised by each society. There's a seperate freshers party by every department and a fest wherein freshers compete with each other within the college, organised by the societies.

We have a pretty open and big ground for sports like footbal and cricket, a basketball court and two seperate gardens for chilling. The library is spacious and peaceful. Lab is fully quipped with working computers and other facilities. The canteen is the major highlight of our college as it is the largest in du.
