Remarks

Great culture which ensures senior-junior interaction and peer learning, amazing placements.One of the best institutes in India in terms of placements.Campus life is incomparable to any other B-school with huge events happening every other week.

Course Curriculum Overview

The brightest minds in the country are taught by the best and most popular professors of the country. Classroom teaching is great and teachers try to involve everyone in the discussion. Course curriculum is perfectly designed for Human Resource Management. Labour Laws are given a lot of importance here where XL has an edge over other B schools. Internship opportunities at reputed firms ensure that the students are industry ready going forward.

Placement Experience

One of the best institutes in India in terms of placements. It finishes its placement process usually in 2-3 days. Average package may range from 23-25 Lacs. The highest package may go as high as 60 Lacs. Almost all the top consulting companies like BCG, Bain, McKinsey, AT Kearney and top FMCG companies like HUL, P&G visit the campus regularly. With the presence of its alumni in the top positions in almost every company, amazing placements is what XL can guarantee.

College Events

Campus life is incomparable to any other B-school with huge events happening every other week. It's mostly a student-run campus which helps in their overall development. The presence of co-curricular, extra-curricular, functional and regional committees ensures senior-junior interaction and peer learning

Campus Life

Every facility is available, library is huge along with an option of remote access of resources. Learning centers are air-conditioned with all the necessary facilities. Wi-Fi is available almost everywhere in the campus. Hostels have single sharing rooms with all the necessary facilities. Ample number of washing machines and water coolers are available on every floor. Laundry and dry cleaning services are also available in campus.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

The eligibility is graduation in any stream. The admission process is available on the college website. You have to score good percentile in XAT exam so that you can get a call for the interviews and then, if your interview is good, you can convert your call and secure admission. Now they have started GD PI also, and interview process is no more virtual. The application fees is somewhere between Rs 2500/- and Rs 3000/-. The XAT exam is very similar to CAT and it tests you on your verbal ability, decision making and quantitative aptitude.
