Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 4000 for entire MBBS fees .Regustration charge 1300.it is government institution so charge is less . Everybody pays the same amount whether reserved or not. Students get admitted after attaining good marks in Neet Exam.This is the best government college in Ranchi for medical students

Campus Life

In our college , we have a 7 day fest named PALASH , in which we enjoy the most . These are the best days of our life .For sports , we have badminton and basket ball court .We have different varied societies in our colleges for co curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

We live in sharing room with four people . The quality of food here is not so good, but we have to eat as there is no option for us . we get a chair, table ,bed , and a rack for keeping things . The bathroom area is clean .

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

When I cleared my NEET exam , i was confused whether to go for all India or state quota , but after understanding each and everything , I decided to go for state quota because u was sure i would get this college .

Faculty

The faculty members here are high learned doctors who are very helpful and teach us in easiest way as possible .there are three exams in a year and we have pass in two exams for giving university exam.

Night Life

We have to come in hostel before 10 pm as the outside campus is not so secure for girl student.Libraries often close at 10 pm . There are multiple cafés outside college campus . The most famous being the chacha paratha.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no such specific aspects of curriculum that influenced me to choose this course, I choosed because I'm intrested in this field. I think couse curriculum and teaching method can be improved by adding some technical knowledge into medical field. The frequency of exam is good. Difficultly level is medium which is good for us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is a long duration course of about 5.5 years in which there is 1 year of compulsory internship.being a doctor is the noble profession and gives you huge respect and that's why i choose this course,this was me and my parents dream as well.this curriculum prepares you to face upcoming challenges that you have to face as a doctor.i think practical work should be more instead of just bookish knowledge.there is 3 terminals in a regular interval of 3 months and then final exams.

The current mode of our curriculum is CBME based that is competency based which has lessen the quantity of syllabus of mbbs course . This made the work of professors easy and the we as a students easily understand any topic and is easy for us in exam too .

Apply for this college in counselling. Fill the registration and security fees as required. If you qualify , you will get an allotment letter. I applied for other colleges as well like ipgmer kolkata and Aiims but due to their high cutoff,i didn't get the one and among the state college i choose rims because its very close to my hometown and top medical college of our state,it have very low admission fees and you can complete your entire mbbs below 50 k. Life at Dental Institute, RIMS

Being the only government college in Jharkhand to offer Bachelors in Dental Surgery is the biggest of all the pros for RIMS. It is more difficult to get into RIMS than other colleges as there is more competition and allotment is via ranks obtained in NEET examination. I could easily make it to other colleges because I scored good marks.
