Course Curriculum Overview

4

Talking about the curriculum, it's well-oriented as per today's need of knowledge in every aspect of medicine. Major benefit being the clinical practice explained in the curriculum to aid us in treating patients out there.

Internships Opportunities

2

There is 1 yr compulsory internship program in MBBS course 15 days to 1 month rotatory internship in every clinical department stipend is around 30,000 per month but out seniors have not got it till now being 3 months into internship

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually there's no such thing as scholarship there Moreover, they don't even allow scholarship or any waiver from other institutes or government programs. Fees for the course is 6000 but if we imply it with hostel, mess, book charges it comes down to around 2 lakh/yr.

Campus Life

1

Firstly there is no thing like club in our college and unfortunately not even in this city Festivals they do celebrate but on our money That also is eaten up by higher authorities like Priyanka mam, ED sir just to name some Sports facility badminton is there and a cricket and football, basketball ground.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Just to inform you, our hostel building is of 20 floors And if this is not enough, lift becomes dysfunctional every second day here. No water cooler here in this 45°C temp. and electricity trip in exams time They don't care challenge us to go and talk to ministry if we want to change anything we have even once locked main gates of college out of ignorance of authorites

Admission

Eligibilty was same as Neet UG exam The admission process was not really smooth there was so much confusion and havoc for 5 days. we even missed out train till we got admission letter There is this one Arpan Sir doing Mane Mane all the time disturbing us already he always goes for snacks or anything during our viva and exams too with external. Pls consider this as a major complaint

Faculty

4

Highly qualified doctors from various prestigious medical schools for teaching and research purposes in the campus 10-15 faculty members there in each department so that no student is ever left out or felt unheard.

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

There is no such specific aspects of curriculum that influenced me to choose this course, I choosed because I'm intrested in this field. I think couse curriculum and teaching method can be improved by adding some technical knowledge into medical field. The frequency of exam is good. Difficultly level is medium which is good for us.

Mbbs is a long duration course of about 5.5 years in which there is 1 year of compulsory internship.being a doctor is the noble profession and gives you huge respect and that's why i choose this course, this was me and my parents dream as well.this curriculum prepares you to face upcoming challenges that you have to face as a doctor.i think practical work should be more instead of just bookish knowledge.there is 3 terminals in a regular interval of 3 months and then final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

-The MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program is a highly sought-after degree that prepares students for a career in medicine. A key aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is its emphasis on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application. The inclusion of subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology provides a strong foundation for understanding the human body and its functions. Furthermore, the clinical rotations and internships allow students to interact directly with patients, giving invaluable hands-on experience. The curriculum is well-structured to equip students for real-world medical practice and further academic pursuits. Clinical postings in hospitals and exposure to different medical specialties enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills. The focus on research methodology also lays the groundwork for those interested in pursuing postgraduate studies or contributing to medical advancements. However, there are areas where the MBBS curriculum could improve. For instance, introducing more interactive teaching methods, such as case-based discussions and simulation labs, would better prepare students for complex clinical scenarios. Additionally, integrating modules on soft skills, such as communication and empathy, could enhance patient care. Exams are frequent, usually held at the end of each semester, with assessments ranging from theory papers to practical exams. While challenging, they are crucial for assessing a student’s knowledge and clinical aptitude. However, spreading out exams and providing more time for preparation could reduce stress and improve performance, ensuring a better learning experience overall. Cons are course length and also the difficulty level.
