Remarks

Its a nice college and for bba its the best in kolkata. The faculty is nice, we get a college atmosphere over there though there is no campus but there is a lot of fun out thereMany sports and management programs are there and there are many clubs which one can enjoy.

Course Curriculum Overview

My syllabus was up to date but yes we were not given any industrial exposure till now. There are various seminars held for different topics by students and by teachers which help us in a better learning

Placement Experience

I am in my second year so i dont know much about it. But as per aur seniors placement opportunities are not much. There are placements but not everyone gets it. Its based on the grades and marks of the past semesters

College Events

Events and extra curricular activities are amazing and everyone gets a chnace to be a part of it the main event of our college is Invictus in which many colleges from all over india participate and take part in the management sports and cultural events

Campus Life

It does not have an infrastructure as such but has all the facilities. There are various seminars held for different topics by students and by teachers which help us in a better learning. I have no complains for my college

SXC is an old pedigree!

Placement Experience:

Companies of all domains like the Asian Paints, EY, Nestle and HDFC Bank among all of them come to SXC. Biggest placements so far has been of 20 lakhs or so when one of the student was placedat such a package in 2024.

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
