Remarks

I chose Scottish Church because it has one of the best faculty of Political Science, and also, the god name the College serves. Scottish helps me not only with my academic career, but also encourages me in my co-curricular arena equally.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus followed by the College as per instructions of the Calcutta University is by far one of the most extensive and detailed syllabus that I've known, covering and ranging from varied topics and giving detailed knowledge to students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

The College has a placement Cell which provides job opportunities to students to various reputed companies. The College placement cell is known to have huge success in providing placement to its students.

College Events

The College organises a Theatre Festival, one the biggest one in the Kolkata College Circuit. It also organises a Model United Nations Conference, which draws participants from varied institutions. The College also organises seminars on various issue at regular intervals.

Campus Life

Being one of the oldest College in Kolkata it definitely gives a vintage feel. The College has a vast library with varied collection of books at your disposal anytime. The College has a lovely canteen which is excellent place to hang out during off periods, and with a cherry on top, the Common Room serves as the most intresting place in the college premises. The College has a field situated at Bagmari where regular practices are held. The faculty encourages the students greatly in co-curricular activities, be it sports, cultural arts or speaking arts.

Placement Experience:

1 internship company came for bca course forgot the name which was unpaid. 3-4 companies came for placement but only 1 out 26 students got placed. Companies like TCS, wipro, cognizant didn't came. Although they will give email for those companies.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is average. Many well known companies do come for campusing like Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc. They offer an average package of 200000 LPA. The highest package is around 600000 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is 45% My plan after getting the degree is pursuing MBA..

Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

From second last semester students get internship opportunity and from last semester they cab get placement opportunities. Few students choose to go to do own business. And rest chose to go for placement. Their area many company visit for placement like tcs , pwc, Wipro, nivida, IBM, and many more prestigious mnc and companies come. Highest package is 15lpa and average is 8lpa. Number of students get placed is 98%.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.

I also applied to the main university but didn't get a chance there. That is why I had to take admission in this blasted institution. I received the rejected from the University due to my lack of percentage in the paper called marksheet. That is what went wrong. The admission process is completely done through the internet. To apply one must have a minimum of 60 % marks in their previous courses. That allows you to fill up the application form. It was good to be a part of that college

You have to pass the 12 th boards with above 90% marks then only you'll get the college. They always have the application form and all the informations in there official college website. There was reservation policies as I was sc so it was a little bit low cut off for my reservation. The exam pattern and difficulty level was a little bit hard.
