Likes

The faculty is extremely good. Most teachers are highly experienced.
There are two different canteens. The food is alright.
Students have the freedom to choose their own outfit for the day.

Dislikes

I disliked the way notices are often given at the last moment.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum has been satisfactory for me. Oue faculty makes the materials even more interesting and as an english honours student, an affection towards the subject is very necessary for pursuing it.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like wow momo have offered in person internships. "Amar kutir society for rural development, Santiniketan" had collaborated with the college for another in person internship. Online internship offers have also been provided by some other companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fees is 17,905 rupees. It varies, depending upon the minor chosen by the student. For example, this is the fees for english honours students with psychology and sociology as their minors.

Campus Life

The campus life here is quite chill. There are several intercollege fests in which students of all semesters are encouraged to participate in. The classrooms are very cool and comfortable to study in throughout the year. Several activity clubs are present. These are run by the college students themselves.

Admission

I chose this college because it was the first one I was accepted in. I applied for two other colleges and thankfully was accepted in them as well but was recommended to join Scottish Church College because of their discipline, legacy and faculty. It is a heritage college for a reason.

Faculty

The faculty is great and they are mostly quite approachable. Students can present their queries to the teachers through texts. Few professors are very easy-going whilst few others can be slightly intimidating. The exams conducted inside the college are mainly the internals before the theoretical exams.

Night Life

It is pretty calm around the college at night. There is seldom any unnecessary ruckus. Several good food stalls and hangout spots surround the college. The hostels are well maintained as well. The college has a gym, two canteens and two libraries.

The teachers are very friendly. Supply of clean drinking water is available always. Rooms are large, clean, fitted with lights and fans. There's also mic available for large classrooms. The rooms have their specific numbers.

Remarks:

No negative comments. The college is one of its own of a kind. It is surrounded by a plethora of greenery which helps the college to be brimmed in fresh air. 24×7. There's no problem at all. The transportation and communication is also of top notch.

It was good to be a part of that college

You have to pass the 12 th boards with above 90% marks then only you'll get the college. They always have the application form and all the informations in there official college website. There was reservation policies as I was sc so it was a little bit low cut off for my reservation. The exam pattern and difficulty level was a little bit hard. The admission process was fully online and convenient. eligibility of my course is above 75% in PCB subjects in 12th grade. online application and everything related to admission is available on the website. Appreciations for college

For taking admission in Scottish church college you should have atleast 90% best of 4 in your 12th boards(although it will slightly depend on department to department). You will get all the updates from the college website itself There is no partiality in the admission process If you have merit then obviously you will get chance to study here. Scottish Church College doesn't take any admission test. The college admits students on the basis of their board exams. So likewise I got admitted to the college through my board exam marks. The eligibility of the course is the percentage of one's board exam marks. The application form can be found in internet on the college's official website, and further more details,like application fees, application dates etc are given on the college website. If anyone asks me that what aspects of the admission process I didn't like, my simple answer is there is nothing that I didn't like about the admission process.
