Anonymous's Review On Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology - [MAIT], New Delhi

It was the second highest rated college in the university providing good placements. If one is looking for a course which is more practical driven rather than theory based, MAIT is the one for you. The faculty is very knowledgeable and engaging with all the students. The main attraction of the college is its multi-storeyed library.

Our faculty was really amazing. Along with theoritical studied, a lot of practical experience was also given through various seminars being conducted by industry leaders, national conferences being arranged, also a management fest conducted every year. Industrial trips are also arranged for the students for better exposure. Guidance and support was provided thoroughout in placement processes via mock GDs and mock interviews.

I interned in two companies.Posist Technologies for HR profile at stipend of 5000 per monthInsight Alpha for Research Profile at stipend of 5000 per monthOverall process for both companies was Aptitute tests followed by GD, then atleadt 3-4 rounds of Personal Interviews.

The placement department is very supportive. They help the students to be ready for the process. Mock GDs and Mock Interviews are conducted. Also how to refine the resume as per the job profile is being taught to us. Companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, Genpact, IHS Markit, Protivity, EY, S&P Global, Cvent etc comes for the placement.

MAIT organizes annual fest along with department wise fests. MBA department arranges management fest where participation of each is compulsory. National seminars and speakers are also invited from the industry to paint a better picture of world out there. Every festival is also celebrated with pomp and show.

The library is the main attraction of MAIT. Rest of the instruction was also quite good. Specially the new built building for MBA and Tech courses. Computer labs and seminar halls were made in a professional manner.

Not opted for hostels, but from what I have heard, the girls hostel is quite safe and hygienic. They are not allowed to go anywhere without the permission of the warden. Then food and instruction is also great there.
