Remarks

Delhi University is a renowned University throughout the country and arguably one of the best institutions in the country. Other factors such as the diversity of people that come here and the active involvement in extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The college is known for its sports culture and is one of the best in this area. Sports ranging from TT badminton volleyball football cricket etc are all available in campus and a lot of talent pours in every year through sports quota. The faculty was very helpful and knowledgeable. I remember the lectures of Dr. Atul Kumar and Mrs. Shuchi pahuja as being the best at that time. The curriculum was updated from time to time as per the norms but the industry exposure was a little less.

Internships Opportunities

I had an internship at Financial doctors which was more of a training program free of cost and had performance based stipend

Placement Experience

3.5

Companies Like EY wipro L&T and Deloitte recruit from the college. The placement process differed for each and every company. Usually, started with an aptitude and included rounds like GD Psychometric tests and PI's. The alumni network is not as strong as it could be. The college is known for sports personalities rather than start-ups.

College Events

4

DU is known for its cultural fests and they are actually great. The fests in our college including competitions ranging in upto 20-25 disciplines and around 4-5k students taking part. Usually a big name celebrity performer also performs on the final day of the fest. Informal events for entertainment purposes were also organised. Besides the cultural fests, there are departmental fests as well which are just as much exciting as the main one.

Campus Life

2.5

The infrastructure was okay and at par with any average government college that you would see. Sports facilities were good though. The classrooms were a tad bit suffocating and the construction on the older side. Though they are rebuilding part of the structure with time.

In the context of a fictional scenario, the placement scenario would depend on the specific college within Delhi University. Some colleges have robust placement cells that facilitate campus placements with various companies. The placement scenario can vary, and it's advisable to check with the specific college for accurate and up-to-date information.

Remarks:

The courses which are available in our college are termed as sacred. As we all know that in today's world cultural subjects are no longer given importance but our college provides courses on the subjects such as Sahitya, jyotishi and many others. So, the cultural importance of our college is very high.
