Remarks

College management is good. They try to provide facilities as they can.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is under KUHS university. Its a 4 yr course.Examinations are year based. No any delay in exam dates and results. From 2nd yr itself we have medical posting in hospitals. In 4rth yr we have to complete a project in 3 months. This course is mainly lab based. We have to cover anatomy, physiology, virology, bacterilogy, entemology, parasitology, mycology in 4 years. For those intrested in microbes its really intresting.More job opurtunities is in Abroads. In India especially in Kerala its an emerging course with good future chances.

Placement Experience

4

We have no any placements from college. But the college is under Co operative federation.Posting in the Co operative hospitals is completely free and talented ones are placed to the hospital

College Events

5

OnamChristmasAids dayNew yearMicrobiology dayMental health dayTobacco dayCollege dayArts dayHoliEidOur college have students from all the religion. So all the festivals are celebration for us.All the programmes are planned and managed by studebts and teachers are always with complete support. No any limitations for any functions.we always enjoy most.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very much affordable,33000 per year for merit seat and for management 42000 per year. For those in hostel have to pay about 2500 per month. The cash have to pay directly in the office itself. The payment is based on the semester. That is have to pay the total amount of an year in 2 sections. For the proggrames in college we have to pay money depends on the plan by programme conductors. For posting if we are not under Co operative hospitals we have to pay amount in the hospitals.Exam fee as the university needed too.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholorship for all backward caste students are there. They dont need to pay any fees or rent for 4 years. There is no any academic criterias for that.

Campus Life

All the religious students are there.Ratio of boys when compared to girls are low.Because this college have paramedical courses I think. There is a jim in the college.sports day is conducted annually and there is a team for football, cricket from our college which is very excellebt.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good but we always find difficult to adjust initially but after 1 yr we cant live that place.Rooms are dometry. Each room have 10 to 12 beds.Bathrooms are provided in the room itself.3 bathrooms and 2 toilets,3 wash area for each room.Washing of cloths can be made in an open are on ground floor. Each room have studebts from different batches.Food is good with respect to the mess fee.Mess fee is about 1500 per month and rent is 1000 per month.Non veg itens are included every day.But meat items are not available.Good study area is provided.I was satisfied very well and think soo good when compared to other hostels fee structures.

Alumni/Alumna

Ragging will be there which is friendly.Seniors are very much attaching so helpful. They are good leading.

Admission

I joined there at first in management.Later I registered in Lbs and got addmission in merit list. After 12th I had studied the entrance but I dont get Mbbs.I liked to join a course which is in medical field. It was my friends mother who told about this course and I joined there

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
