Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

We are under Kerala university of health sciences, Thrissur. Every year we have 4 subjects. Exam structure is student friendly. Exam dates are announced even before the starting of class so the teachers can take thier portions before that date. In every 3 months we have an Internal. Total 3 internals in 9 months.

Placement Experience

4

Since it's a professional course after graduation student must find thiet jobs in medical labs. Faculties also helps the students to find thier labs.

College Events

2

We celebrate all most all festivals and occasions. In kerala we celebrate onam so in our college we will make pookkalam with flowers and several other competitions associated with onam are practiced in our college. Then we celebrate fresher's day, College Arts day, sports day, Graduation day, World cancer day, Aids day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees are increasing as the year goes. During my admission time its been 75k for one year then my juniors are paying 95k for a single year. Its a 4 year course. We can pay the fees by visiting by nearest bank and put the money to the college account.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's so many scholarship given by State and Central government students can avail it in our college. I dont have any type of Scholarship.

Campus Life

2.5

As it is a medical field boys in numbers are very low. In my class we have 29 girls and 3 boys. No political parties are allowed in our college. We have Haematology, biochemistry and Cytology labs. The lab and faculties are good so we can make our learning more easy.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel are only for girls. Boys want to stay outside as a paying guest in nearby houses. For girls hostel is as sharing there's 10 or more people sharing a single room. They also have mess inside the hostel. Hostel fees and mess fees are different.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are very helpful ad they guide us towards our academic sessions. They also lent thier books for study.

Admission

I got the admission based on my +2 marks. I opt this course its an. Professional course so I can work afrer my Graduation. I chose the institution as there's only this whose fees can be afford by my parents. Usually admission process starts after the announcement of +2 results. After the results students want to visit the college and fill the admission form. Eligible students will be informed by the institution.

Faculty

4

Almost its 9 or 10 staffs are there in my department. All of them are between 30s to 40s. Our lectures teach the way that the student can understand the whole thing. They also permit us to ask our doubts. If they don't know it they will refer it and clears our doubt. They also ask questions about the class taught on previous day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has a very good curriculum. It teaches all the subjects and areas we want to know and learn. Also , there are references put for each topic, so it's easy to learn. Also there are plenty of sites that we can collect information apart from these references. The curriculum prepares us very well in both theoretical and clinical aspects by providing sufficient information and experience option. The final year is the game changer .The current exam time and frequency is very good and acceptable.
