Review of Central University of Himachal Pradesh Dharamshala

Central University of Himachal Pradesh Dharamshala is a good option for students who want to do specialisation in their course. Facilities provided by University is good and environment of university is also impressive. Only problem is with campus, campus is small as compare to other central universites. But enough for studying. This gives you better option, better life and better knowledge. All the books and teachers are standard. Teachers have lots of experience. All over this University is good option for you and your dreams.

MSc physics course is necessary to make your physics strong and we have many scientific activities in our University in which all the students take participation. Exam structure is relevant, we have external exam system, only mid term examination is holding by University, end term examinations are conducted by extranal University. So there is no matter of partiality in exams. This course will make us better in physics so it helps us as a professional.

Till now there is no placements for MSc physics students, only MBA department has placements, and 3 to 4 companies visited every year to MBA students. Tentative percentage of students are around 75 percent. And institute take many special steps to prepare the students for better one and for placements.

We celebrate following events in our University1. Republic day : In this day we have pred of Security gaurds and many cultural activities like folk dance, singing, Act, play and speeches. 2. Science day : this day is very special for us, this celebrated on 28th of February every year. Students from many schools and other institutes also come to take participate in this function. There was model presentation, quizs and others activities. 3. Environment Day 5th june : In this day we plant many trees around the university campus4. Yoga day 21 june : this day all the teachers and students come to university to do yoga with their own met. 5. Independence day 15 August : this fay again for country, we did paintings rangoli, dancing singing and speeches on country. 6. Teachers day 5 September : this day is dedicated to teachers, we celebrate this day with teachers.

For our Program of MSc physics there is total 9600 rs fees for one semester. And there are total 4 semester and hostel fees and bus fare is separate. So as compare to other central universites in our country it's quite expensive. Yes college provide transparency in the fee breakdown.

College provide free ship scholarship for students and following is the criteria for this scholarship.1. His /Her family income should be less than 5 lakh rupees. 2. he/she should be passed in previous semester exams. 3. minimum percentage for eligibility is 55 percent.

Gender ratio in our University is 9 to 10. 9 girls per 10 boys. There are students comes from different region of country. It creates diversity of students here. We have totel 29 departments and students interacts with each other it gives a best communication experience. And there is no tolerance with regards to gender, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. We filled anti ragging form every year.

I reside in PG and rent of PG is 4500 rupees per month. Because hostel is very far from university that's why I opted PG which are near by University. And total rent for one year comes around 55000 rupees. And the condition of rooms available in PG is good. And I also went to hostel to check the rooms, so hostel campus is also good rooms are good and there is security it's most important. But only problem with hostel is that it's too far from university and I can not do this much daily traveling.

Yes, seniors students are very helpful. As we have anti ragging commetti so there is no bothering about ragging, so hence we have good relationship of seniors and juniors. They helped us in acedemics and in other works of university they provide us guidelines.

I got admission in BSc physics Honours in college with my percentage in 10+2 class. I choose this course because I want to do specialisation in physics and BSc Physics Honours was the best for that. This institute is the best institute in our state this is only one central university in our state. And here we have good library and standard or international author's books. Environment around the university is very good. As a admission procedure they took merit in undergraduation level and entrance for MSc physics. And checked documents for the admission.

In our course there is total 6 lecturers and 3 professors. All the professors are over 45 in age and lecturers are between 35 to 45. All are very intelligent and experienced. They have many degrees, certificate and many awards with them. We have lecturers from different states. All teachers have clearity about there subject, they alla are masters of their subjects. Yes some teachers have industry experience.
