Remarks

It's among the top IPU colleges and the crowd here is very good and it's very easy for a student to adjust in this college, also the faculty is too good and cooperative and their way of teaching is also impressive.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty used to update us time to time about the changes if any in the syllabus. We were taken to factories also for the exposure and to gain knowledge relating to the subject we were studying. The subjects are as appropriate as required

Since I'm in second year only I'm not aware of any such thing now. We will have our internship in the third semester where the company hires student on the basis of their performance any bright candidate can get direct recruitment also

College Events

The college has many societies and clubs which enhance our personality and skills. Every now and then we get to work on some extra curricular activities. The college is full of opportunities. Many events are being organised by the societies from time to time

Campus Life

Our campus is something we love our college for. We have 6 canteens in our college with every kind of interest. library is well equipped with the books also there I see a facility of availing book bank where we can take books from the college itself but that requires payment

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically
