Course Curriculum Overview

L.L.B is an undergraduate course which deals with the making of a person - a lawyer. This course require patience because a lawyer is regarded as a legal practitioner. And the duration is for five consecutive years.

Placement Experience

Placements for our senior batch are good. They got hired in top law firms. There is a placement committee in the university which is a student body and supervised by a faculty adviser. The committee plays a key role in acquiring placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Lawyer course is very expensive no matter wherever you study. However, the fee structure for B.A of L.L.B course is Rs.1,86,000 for the first year; second, third and fourth year is Rs.1,76,000. And the last year fee is also the same. All total, it is amounting of Rs.8,90,000/-.

Campus Life

The college provides excellent infrastructural facilities. There are single accommodation rooms available in our hostels with a good canteen which offers different kinds of food. The college provides unlimited Wi-Fi facility. There is a library with several books, and we have an amphitheatre, sports complex

Admission

This college is near my house and is very easy to travel on daily basis. Candidates who wants to study law, needs to sit for the CLAT (Common Law Aptitude test) held across the country. The selection completely depends on the marks scored in this test.

Faculty

The college provides highly qualified faculty members. Law teaching requires qualification and great knowledge about the field of law, which our teachers have.Most of the subjects are taught by more than one lecturer. There are professors, assistant professors, associate professors, and lecturers who have mastered in different subjects.

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
