Course Curriculum Overview

BSc was a 3 years long course along with 6 semesters and we used to have examinations as internal (class tests) and external( finals) at the end of each session. The practicals were taken along the examinations. The curriculum was stress free and required a lot of hard work.

Placement Experience

3

The college used to give placement forms at the end of 3rd year. The teachers recommended to study for their masters for a high scope. The research companies used to come and interview those who chose to apply for job like Discovery channel India, animal life sanctuaries, etc. The package running was around ?5 lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college was government sponsored so it wasn? expensive. The total fees for the course was around ?7000 approximately. It was very feasible and could be submitted in the form of demand draft or card payments. No cash was accepted.

Campus Life

The college was very old but it was nicely constructed. It had big playgrounds and spacious multipurpose hall with libraries and laboratories, fully equipped with the latest technology. The students used to come from different backgrounds and the boys and girls were equal in number. Students used to have various clubs including all the arts club like music, dance, theatre, debate. It was a ragging free campus.

Admission

I secured 85% in my 12th board examinations and applied to the college through their official website. The application form was available and I filled the details with the attached documents. The procedure was simple and I got my name in the second list. The admission was confirmed and I submitted the first year fees.

Faculty

4

The teachers were PhD holders and scholars in different fields. They all were supportive and helpful, and all fluent in English which led to no communication gap. They used to give importance to practical research work than the text book written theory. All were very supportive.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.
