Course Curriculum Overview

The school helps us in a proper training which is based on a well planned syllabus. The syllabus is planned in such a way that it covers every aspect of the studies from theory to practice. They also provides us training in classical dramatic tradition.

Placement Experience

4.5

As I found out that as such there's no placement offered to the students by the school. After doing a 3 year diploma course from such a renowned school, one can easily get placement because the school totally helps us to polish our skills in a very good manner.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is so feasible. I was charged an admission fee of Rs. 150 and after that I am supposed to pay Rs. 150 per month as my tuition fee for the diploma of 3 years at NSD. There are other miscellaneous fees which includes Rs. 60 per year for the Students' Union Membership Fee, Advance Fee for Make-up Kit, Caution Money and Library Fee Deposit and Rs. 2500 as a Stationery Fee.

Campus Life

NSD organizes theatre workshops for the students. There are large spaces available on campus for practicing. We have Abhimanch Auditorium, Sammukh Auditorium and Bahumukh Auditorium in the campus. The campus also consists of one audio video library.

Admission

For taking admission in the National School of Drama, NSD, graduation was required, and also the student must have participated in at least six theatre productions. Since I always thought of pursuing my career in drama, I thought of applying for the admission in NSD after completing my graduation. The selection is based on the performances in the audition and workshop.

Faculty

5

The faculty members are always well supportive and give their hundred percent efforts in making us learn the dramatic skills. From the basics of acting to the Theatre Techniques & Design, faculty members are always there at each and every step with their valuable support.

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

As per I've heard, placements here are decent. I can't say for sure because I'm new here. About my plans, I am doing CFA side by side because I don't believe that a bachleors degree has any valur of it's own, one needs to pair it with something else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a person who wants to build a strong foundation in both economics and mathematics, B.A.(Hons.) Economics was my first choice. This course not only provide valuable insights into how real world economics work, but it also has great career prospects. Students studying economics major actively take consulting, research, risk management as popular career choices. Since this is a practical course with a broad focus on mathematics, the difficulty level is from moderate to high.

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.
