Remarks

The college is overall a nice college. I will rate it 7.5/10. The atmosphere here is good. Seniors are very helpful with no ragging case in about 20 years. It makes it more remarkable. The technical side is ok but the cultural side dominating it to a good extent. Overall I think I have made the right decision for the IDEAL college.

Entrance Preview

I took IIT JEE was the primary focus. Cleared boards with the help of tutions and coaching appeared of it and passed with 95%. Filled the forms of many college and also appeared for the test. College like BITS,VIT,MANIPAL,IP UNIVERSITY etc. Then gave JEE MAINS and scored 156 marks. As the counselling began I was given this college and luckly the branch I wanted 3.

Internships Opportunities

Being a 2nd yearite. I still have no intern Experience but still as per the college ternd quite good quality and quantity of companies come for hiring interns and average package being about 5600 and the maximum being 40,000.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement here is taken care by the TPO traing and placement office. The atmosphere here is quite good and many companies come here for campus placements. Companies like Tata, amazon,L&T,smartcube etc. It's not only core branch companies which apper for hiring but also many management companies come too. Last year the placement success was 94%. Rest of the students opted for the higher studies or GATE.

College Events

5

Our college has a very bright cultural side and it's one of the things that I love. Not only the college focuses on technical knowledge but also support wide range of cultural clubs like DRAMATICS,music, debating clubs. Rotract club. Each of them having their annual club events, which are amazing. These clubs helps exploiting the other side if engineering students. Technical clubs also play a major role.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite reasonable. A general category studying. Child pays about 40k per sem.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is epic It's like a whole world inside the world. It has gymnasium hall Basketball court,Lawntennis court,Swimming pool,Football ground, cricket ground, auditorium etc. Which a completely accessible with permission of the authorities.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel are very well managed for both boys and girls. 1st year has separate hostel and is run by a private contractor.2, 3& 4 th yearites has 2 hostels which is run by govt. Contractors. 2, 3&4 the year girls have one hostel (quite big) with govt Contact. Mess food is also not that bad as people usually say it's the repetitive food they make which make people sick of eating it. Although we have quite a diverse menu but if same is eaten for 5 months one become sick of it. All the representative are chosen among the students itself.

Alumni/Alumna

We have an alumni network called PECOSA. A website for the same and also annular alumni meets. Which is a very healthy trend that is followed in the college. Students from each year after passing out opts for this as he never want to get detached from college. There is a certain amount of money they need to pay each year which is quite reasonable. They have a common Google Page Facebook page which helps then getting connected socially.

Exam Structure

It's 5 months for a single semester. Our if which 2 month's alternate are quite hectic full of exams papers quizzes. Rest 3 months are not so hectic but quuzes, small test and assignments are regularly. There is a mid semester and then the final semester. Level of difficulty completely depends on the preparation level.

Faculty

3

Not so good teachers come and teach and simply go irrespective that the student has gained knowledge or not About what else could u except form govt. College teachers all of them being masters in theie field. They some where lack the the ability to share the knowledge in easy language so that all the students can understand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)
