Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is easy going. There are a total of 3 years in our course which consists of 6 semesters. The 6 semesters have different subjects and the students study really hard and put in all their effort.

Placement Experience

Unfortunately our college does not offer any job placements or internships to the students. The students have been suggesting and waiting for a omg time for this but till now it is not available to the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for B.Com is around Rs.9,000. So monthly it will come around Rs.700-750 per month. I feel like It is pretty feasible and it is not a very huge sum of money for education in our college.

Campus Life

The college hosts and conducts a lot of events for the students. The students organise and conduct a lot of events from the interests of the other students. A variety of events are conducted by our college.

Admission

The students have to apply for an admission by filling out the application form by paying a sum of money. Then the students have to wait for the merit list. The admission process is strictly merit based.

Faculty

The college faculty guides us students very well. They have in depth knowledge of the subject so they help us with our doubts no matter what it is. They are also very kind and helpful to us students.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after 3rd year.. The companies visit are Addidas. The average package is 2LPA.. The percentage of students getting placement is about 80%... My plan after getting the degree is to get the job in stadium.

I took this trouble because I like this course. 45 boys and 30 girls are studying in our college. In our Cooch Behar College, the exam is conducted very thoroughly. The teacher and teacher of this college is very good and talks to everyone well and clears their doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc Computer Science Faculty: Student ratio is = 4:23 may vary a bit Faculty are well Qualified & Teaching method is okay good, but not to the mark like very good or excellent. The exam term was timely (sometimes it gets a bit late due to some natural disaster like cyclone, heavy rainfall, etc or any govt. & university delays), and the exam level is nearly too difficult, something like in between moderate to difficult.

I love to read English and it's easy for me so that's why I choose it. There are a total of 50 students in this course. Our teachers are very helpful and talented and also support us. We have 2 semesters after 6 months in 1 year. Exams are comfortable for the students who study the subject. It is difficult for those who do not study.

The semester exams always took place on time time each year and exam dates were given in the notice board. The question difficulty level was quite easy The teachers are qualified to the requirements of eligibility. I chose this course since i have interest in computer science subject.

Remarks:

The positive remark is that bhawanipur college treats every student equally and always try to provide students more and more comfort and facilities into the college. Moreover I have seen that bhawanipur college never stops any student from giving exams due to attendance issues or anything. There's no pressure of attendance in the college so students feel much reliable in this college.
