Remarks

I myself had a great experience in this college during my years of graduation. My teachers, my friends or mates the allover campus life was very positive and encouraging. The infrastructure of my college was also well built and furnished and the college was always been very clean.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was of three years and had six semesters, 2 Semistars of 5-6 months every year. The course provided us with deep understanding and knowledge regarding accountancy and finance from scratch to peak via regular assignment, tests etc.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements opportunities from the college was however very limited we got guidence in regards to our career opportunities after completion of B.com but however internships during the course or job opportunities after completing my course was searched by my own. And currently I am working as a corporate analyst with the package of 5 Lakh annually.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for B.com hons. (Accounting and Finance) was easily feasible. In the first Semistar it was quite more (Rs.5200) then in the other 5 Semistars (Rs. 4900/Semistar) as because of the admision application fees in the first Semistar.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college had various opportunities for scholarships for the students who were academically excellent or for the poorer section of students some of the scholarships scheme were Minority Welfare - Post Matric Scholarship Scheme West Bengal Government Merit cum Means Scholarship and more.

Campus Life

There wasn't any discrimination in my college based on gender, race, sexual Orientation or because of the privilege of any student being politically or economically strong. Everyone was equally encouraged or was equally treated.

Admission

I persued Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} (Accounting and Finance) from this college and for the admission I filled an online application which was available on there website. The selection was merit based and the basic eligibility criteria for admission in the course was to pass with aggregate of 50% minimum in the 5 core subjects of commerce and 45% of Marks must be scored in the particular subject of hons.

Faculty

4

My teachers were a group of knowledgeable well qualified faculty. They had great experience and helped us a lot in learning better practically with great enthusiasm. Also they had a very good command in there respective subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- The BCA cirrcuam at THE HERITAGE ACADEMY covers fundamental programming, Database management, and web development which are essential for a career in IT. - The syllabus is moderately relevant but some topics feel outdated. While programming and project based learning help in skill building more industry oriented course like AI, cloud computing, and Data science should be include. - Areas for improvement 1.more hands on training and internship opportunity should be introduced 2.Some subject focus too much on theory rather than practical application 3.Advanced technologies and industry trends should be integrated into the syllabus. Exam system & Difficulty: - 4 exam per semester - PPT Presentation, Report writing, MCQ test, written test then the Final semester Exam -Difficulty level moderate

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
