Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite planned, we followed the semester exam system with 3 sessional tests and an end semester examination. We were provided with all the notes and books beforehand. The only shortcoming we faced was 75 per cent attendance was mandatory so we had quite a hectic time managing that.

Placement Experience

In my course, 98% of students got placed in very good firms and industries. They got the job that they wished for. The highest package offered was 8 lakh and the lowest was 1.5 lakh. Some fortunate students got the internship from college which helped them in gaining corporate knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fees for MBA is approximately 42K for a 2-year course which is very feasible and inexpensive. Also, the scholarship is given to SC, ST and OBC students. Hostel fees are also very affordable. All payments are made online making it more easy and transparent. Transport facility is also available for the students.

Campus Life

Many seminars, activities, debates are conducted on a monthly basis addressing social and economical issues. Sports activities like football and cricket tournament are held for the students. Student participation is maximum in these activities. A yearly cultural fest is organised in which students and faculty wear traditional clothes and many traditional dances and activities are performed.

Admission

One of my friends recommended Sikkim University to me. The university extends 2 years of a full-time post-graduation management programme. On the basis of my CAT score, I got shortlisted and within a few days, I got a call for my final interview. The admission procedure was very smooth. Everything was systemic.

Faculty

The teachers are very knowledgeable and have a good understanding of their subjects. Everyone is very humble and always there to solve the problems of students. They are very compassionate and we shared a very sympathetic bond with them. They made learning manageable with the use of modern technology and made it very easy to comprehend.

A very honest review of NIT SIKKIM

Placement Experience:

Placement is overall good here. Students from ece/eee are better placed than cse here. Here, companies like nvedia, apple has given the highest package. Previous year highest package is 55 lakh ,which had given to two students from eee branch. This year highest package is 35 lakh . Which is offered by two students. Now ,I am concluding all branch avg and placement percentage - Civil -70%placed Mechanical- 100% placed Eee-92% Ece-90% Cse/ai- 80% Overall -86% Average - 8.85 lpa Median-7.5 lpa Highest -35 lpa

The course curriculum is pretty outdated, they need to update it. The professors try to accomodate and teach stuff out of the syllabi as per the emerging trends. The difficulty level is average and the exams are easy to score on.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester students eligible for sitting in placement drive. companies visited like alkem, cipla zydus, zuventus, alembic etc. highest salary is 2.5 lakh per annum and lowest in 2 lakh per annum. 85% students get placed in placement drives remaining students opt for higher studies and family business. my plans after getting degree is to get the experience the field in retail sector. and do my own business . not only I will depend on one business I will generate multiple source of income form my business strategy and communication skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B pharmacy is a professional course and if influenced me to choose this course This course prepares you for real world application starting from communication to discipline every thing is taught in this course one becomes very disciplined and dedicated to this course once they opt for it The improvement required is to give proper gaps between sessional and semister examination as it puts too much stress on student and the faculty at the ending rushes and completes the syllabus in a hurry without proper explaination and just gives ppts at the end and sometimes doesnt even complete the syllabus before semister exams . So i think this thing needs to be inproved Sessional examinations are not too hard but semister examinations are mild to hard

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.

The placement of our college is pretty good for the b.tech students like this year they are getting average of 7 lacs per annum but in BCA course it is 3 lakh or 4 lakh per Adam but in MCA it is 6to7 lakhs

I chose this college because it was feasible and close to my state (Assam). It was the only central university close to my state which provided psychology honors. Honest my review

I had applied at jnu but did not got selected and few others but this university was closer to my home and Sikkim is a great place to study because of the people very good. I feel safe and secure had lots of fun.
