Sikkim University offers a full-time residential Master in Business Administration (MBA) program for a duration of 2 years which divided into four semesters each of six (6) months duration. The MBA program is carefully crafted and designed to impart not only knowledge but also provide a strategic vision to handle diverse business situations.

Graduation with 45% marks is the minimum requirement to be eligible for MBA admission

Admission will be based on the performance of the candidates in CAT/MAT/CMAT followed by GD or personal interview

Sikkim University MBA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for reserved category students) from any recognized University or Institute.
They must have studied Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects in +2 level.

Candidates are selected for MBA admission based on their scores obtained in CAT or MAT or CMAT followed by a Group discussion or Personal interview

I liked the faculty members of Sikkim University, Though the university campus is not yet set up but the faculty members they try their best to improve the department culture
I like the standard of studies in the university.

Dislikes

Though there is placement cell in the university but it is not active, which is the most necessary thing a professional student need but isn't available.
Since the permanent campus is still under construction, we think that campus was necessary for good social relations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of this course is quite good and is relevant and perfect for the growth of the management students. Well the preparation for the real world application is not as expected. The teachings methods must be more improved for better growth. And there should also be changes in the teachings methods. The tests and exams and preparations are conducted very frequently.

My Review on Sikkim University

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The total fees for my two-year course are around 8,130 INR out of which around 6000 has to paid in 1st year and rest in 2nd. Considering other MBA colleges which charge you in lakhs, this is very feasible. As for hostel charges, they have to paid separately and they are also quite a good bargain.

The course fee is genuine and under the budget of all. The first year fees for MBA is Rs.5, 930 and second year fee is Rs.2, 200. For students like me who are from SC class, studying MBA course under this fee structure is unimaginable.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Total fees for MBA is approximately 42K for a 2-year course which is very feasible and inexpensive. Also, the scholarship is given to SC, ST and OBC students. Hostel fees are also very affordable. All payments are made online making it more easy and transparent. Transport facility is also available for the students.
