Likes

The quality of education and the facilities are very educated and the environment is clean and safe for the students. The students are competitive and very active. There are extra curricular activities provided which is a plus point for the students.
The students and my batch mates are very understanding and they are Cooperative. The seniors are helpful. The juniors are also respectful and the students are understanding and the seniors are very helpful and enthusiastic and they don't look down .
The food and the environment of Sikkim is very good . ..the food is good One of the highlights of my college life has been the diverse and high-quality food options available near the university

Dislikes

one thing I find challenging is the unpredictable weather, especially the rain. The frequent downpours can sometimes put a damper on the day, making it difficult to get around campus without getting soaked.
Without a physical campus, the challenges posed by the frequent rain and unpredictable weather become even more pronounced. Students are often left navigating between temporary facilities or off-site locations, which can be particularly frustrating d

Course Curriculum Overview

The professors are really good and very in-depth about what they teach . They give us handsom experience and they send us to internship and other practical activities which is very good and interesting at the same time

Class Size: 21Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For admission We pay 7000 where 3000 is security fee which we will get back after our graduation. We pay 1200 per semester , and hostel fee is based on bed sitter wise . The fees are same for all the students. There is no exam fees to be paid .There will be need based scholarship for the needy where the student can get 3k per month

Campus Life

The one drawback is the campus is still under construction but despite that the uni tries it's best to give us the college life experience by having different types of festivals and programs both educational and social.

Admission

I chose this college because it was a central based and it was nearer to my hometown and it was more convenient for me to come and go to my place . I was opting for BR Ambedkar University in Delhi which I got into it but it was further from my home so I chose this Sikkim university

with 6 faculty members for every 20 students, or a 1:3.3 ratio. This ensures that each student receives significant individual attention and support. The exams are not that hard yet some students fail to appear to due personal reason. We have 50 marks internal and 50 for external

Honest my review

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was diverse and more likely never heard of but it was nice I came to know about war and peace why war happens and why peace is very important, how society works, how religion works everything I don't know how good does this curriculum prepares you for real world but gives you more refined knowledge to understand the world. There is always room for improvement in very field that is why our world is changing day by day it improvement afterall. Faculty have come together and find new and imaginative ways to teach so students can understand well. Per semester main exams difficulties are not there if you study not 8 hours a day but understand the concepts.

A short journey back to my Alma Mater

Course Curriculum Overview:

When pursuing my Bachelors degree i got to know more about the subject and got influenced to continue with the course. The course teaches us so many things about the Functioning, regulating, and embodiment of the government, which is intresting and helpful in day to day life. The study doesn't need any improvements rather it would be better the politicians who run our government should be exposed with the course's curriculum. Exam is held twice a year in Manipal excluding the internal exams and the weekly or monthly tests.

My Undergrad Experience at Sikkim University.

I chose this college because it was feasible and close to my state (Assam). It was the only central university close to my state which provided psychology honors. Honest my review

I had applied at jnu but did not got selected and few others but this university was closer to my home and Sikkim is a great place to study because of the people very good. I feel safe and secure had lots of fun. Ya I got rejected from jnu, maybe I was less prepared that is only reason afterall it is one of the best university Process was simple when I applied there I had to give entrance exam.
