BHASKARACHARYA COLLEGE OF APPLIED SCIENCES is one of the best science College in UNIVERSITY OF DELHI . It is all science College providing 11 courses. Staff and faculty members are experienced. Although it is a off campus college No hostel but you find pg and flats nearby at a reasonable price

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are experienced they try to make the class interactive . 5-6 teachers are allotted per batch There are internal assignment,viva A mentor is also assigned for every 10 students to consult and share their problem Exam are held twice. It's not really hard to clear the exams

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

There is a separate placement cell. You can apply for it in 3 yr. Various companies come for placements I will be pursuing msc after my bsc is over

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Every course have different fee structure . In botany 1 yr fee was around 12 k 2 yr was 7 k Scholarship is also Available

Campus Life

Campus is awesome. You have different society to join and run by students. College and departmental dear are also held. There are tours and one day trip. BCAS has a good library with a separate reading area. Sports like Cricket basketball volleyball tug-of-war Races long jumps ad more With a large supports ground.

Hostel Facilities

There is no college hostel but you can find pg or flats nearby Starting from 4 k per month Students also take a room in sharing, which cost them around 3000 per month.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think my course was very best for those who have not decided their future plans. They want to explore more field of science not restricted to a particular field (as like me). It includes biochemistry,botany, zoology and physics chemistrynot (not so much). So it gives you number of opportunity to persued different field as your career in future.

Some real sides of Hansraj College

Placement Experience:

After completing the IV Semester, students become eligible to participate in Campus Placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and DeShaw visit campus every year and recruit students. The highest package offered for the Batch of 2023 is 21 LPA, and the Overall Average Package is around 4-5 LPA. But No. of Placements is less due to some factors, such as Companies being fewer the number of visits here, also the Majority of Students opt for a master's. CGPA should be more than 8, to sit in Placements. My Plan is to do a master's if I can't get the placements then Polish my skills to get a job in a reputed company in IT.

Great environment

Remarks:

Overall experience of college is good. It is peaceful and environment is really great. As it is a science college, students are generally more serious. Infrastructure is good.

Entrance Preview:

I got admission in this college by cut off list that University of Delhi releases. I got 85.6% in 12th by which i managed to pass the cut off marks. I opt for this college after I heard about it by some of my elders that the science faculty of this collage is really very good.

The college is purely based on Applied Sciences. It is one of the best off-campus colleges in vicinity of South-West Delhi. My college has been awarded 'A' category in NAAC.This is how, it might be considered one of the most reputed and renowned college in entire Delhi region. My interest was triggered on visiting the college which is purely dedicated to serious studies along with co-curricular activities in place. A typical science college

My experience is overall good in this college. They are is nothing bad neither with the alumni nor the environment of the college but yes the college is situated in a very side area. Metro facility is not available there you will have to take bus or gramin seva from nearest metro stn to reach the college.
