Remarks

Maitreyi has one of the best infrastructures. The area is quite clean as it is an official area near the embassy. This year(2020) the admission has been delayed. You have to first make your documents verified in a particular area. The volunteer there will guide you about every detail and help you through the admission procedure. Keep your documents thoroughly verified and structure. Also, keep multiple photocopies of each document. This will help you get through the mess at the photocopy shop. Keep a fevicol and a stapler with you. You can refer to various social media handles like dubeats, duexpress, duinformation, and many more. You can also follow Maitreyi College's social media handles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and much more. This college is only a women's college.

Course Curriculum Overview

In the Physical science with computer course, the teachers are quite helpful. The computer department is quite well structured with AC classes.

Internships Opportunities

Various companies and NGOs provide internships now and then. Digital marketing, IT internships, and many others are provided with interviews with interested students. Every year there is an internship fair through which you can seize the opportunity.

Placement Experience

Students from semester 6 are eligible for the placement. Right now, I'm in 2 yr, so I don't know much about it. But if you want to get an update on your skills you can participate in various internships which are provided to you every now and then. So grab the opportunity and have fun.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is quite low compared to other colleges. For scholarship, you can assist with the administration of the college. You can also get a stipend by participating in various internships. This will also help you build various soft skills.

Campus Life

The annual fest is RHAPSODY. About 5000+ students from various colleges like DU, DTU, AMITY, and others come to our college and participate and enjoy the fest. The tech fest is Ciencia. Here, you can participate and win actual money through your coding, Photoshop skills, and so on. There are separate social media handles for each society. Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Life in RAMJAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs. But from 2024 the admission process changed and now Cuet Exam is mandatory. A valid score of cuet and 12 th class is required.
