Remarks

Since the college is still new, the hospital staff and the medical instruments aren't adequate to manage the large patient outflow. But it will surely improve over time. Overall, it's a good college with a large campus that anyone would fall in love with at first sight.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The hospital, college and hostel building are seperate, although located in the same campus. The teachers are quite friendly and helpful. There are proper Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology labs. There is also an Anatomy museum in the Anatomy department. Hospital has good patient outflow that ensures every student gets a fair amount of exposure in clinical practice. There's also psychiatrists for the counseling of students who need it. Exams are held all through the year, but teachers try to keep it as stress free as possible. After graduation, one can choose to do paid Internship in the IQ City hospital itself or anywhere else too.

Placement Experience

4.5

In medical colleges, you don't usually have to worry about placements. The college will arrange for your internship in campus itself. But you may opt to do internship elsewhere too. One year internship after graduation is a must and will be completely paid. The college pays 25, 000 per month for internship.

College Events

4.5

The Annual college fest held in February every year after Final Term exams. It is a two day programme and Students and celebrities showcase their talents. Other activities like Freshers, Farewell, Music competition, inter college cricket tournament, inter college football, inter college medical quiz are held. We have a playground in our campus which helps a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite affordable even though it is a private medical college. There is total transparency in fee structure and it is clearly listed on their website. No additional charges are asked. You can pay by any means including online, bank transfer or cheque.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, the college does not offer scholarships. However, based on NEET rankings, you may avail some sort of discount on your fees. You need to talk to the college authorities in person for that.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus has a robust environment and extra-curricular activities are common. Yearly college tours are also mandatory. The college has a large playground where you can play cricket, football, badminton with your friends. There's a mall nearby where you may hangout. We also have debate club, photography club, music club, literary etc. where you may enroll in the first year itself. Also a yearly college is released where you may showcase your artistic talents.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes I have opted for hostel. Anyone can opt for a hostel and seats are not limited. The rooms are quite neat and clean. The accommodation is 3 students per room. We have a playground infront of our hostel too where we spend our evenings. Additional facilities like gym and swimming pools are not available, although you may find them at a walking distance of 1-2 kilometres.

Alumni/Alumna

In medical colleges, having an alumni network is quite essential since you need to have other doctors who'd recommend you to patients. Keeping good relations with your seniors help a lot in this regard. I know a senior of IQ4 batch who went on to practice in AIIMS Delhi.

Admission

I opted for MBBS here because this is one of the best medical colleges in the district. Also, it has all the modern facilities and patient outflow in the hospital is also quite good. Admission begins only after the NEET results are announced. You need to contact the college through their website or visit the college itself. You will need to have "qualified" NEET score for admission here. Admission is hassle free and the fees are moderate. The college located in the modern IQ City has a grand infrastructure that you would love at first sight.

Faculty

4

There are different departments for each subject. The Head of Departments are the senior most teachers with a lot of expertise in their respective fields, but are usually unapproachable. Classes are taken by junior lecturers who'd also be available at your disposal. Lecturers hold MBBS and MD/MS degrees and HODs have even higher qualifications with experience in clinical practice. There are about 3-4 lecturers and one HOD and one Assistant HOD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
