Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced your decision to choose this course The MBBS curriculum offers a well-structured approach to understanding human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and clinical medicine. The integration of theoretical learning with hands-on practical training in hospitals played a significant role in my decision to choose this course. Additionally, the inclusion of early clinical exposure, case-based learning, and problem-solving sessions helped make the curriculum engaging and applicable. How well the curriculum prepares you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits The curriculum provides a solid foundation in medical sciences and prepares students for real-world applications through clinical rotations, hospital internships, and patient interactions. It builds essential diagnostic and treatment skills, ensuring that students are well-prepared for medical practice. Furthermore, it lays the groundwork for further academic pursuits like postgraduate medical studies, research, and specialization in various medical fields. Suggest the areas for improvement in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods More Hands-on Training: While theoretical knowledge is strong, increasing practical exposure from the early years would be beneficial. Updated Course Content: Medical advancements happen rapidly, and the curriculum should be regularly updated to include the latest developments. Interactive Teaching Methods: Incorporating more problem-based learning, clinical simulations, and digital learning tools could enhance understanding. More Focus on Mental Health and Communication Skills: Training in handling stress, doctor-patient communication, and ethical dilemmas should be strengthened. The frequency and timing of exams along with your perspective on their difficulty level The exams are frequent, covering theory and practical aspects, ensuring continuous assessment. Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.
