IQ CITY MEDICAL COLLEGE : A detailed overview

This course gives you the best chance to serve your community and your country. This is one of the most demanding course and pays highly in terms of money and respect. The aetcom process taught during the course explains how to handle patients the right way and to provide the best treatment to them. The exams are usually conducted every 3-5 months according to course duration and syllabus of respective years of study.

The college provides a mandatory paid rotational internship for 1 year. It has postings in different departments and wards for treatment of patients in different fields . Interns are payed monthly stipends. After internship they can apply for jobs in different hospitals or can do self practice.

IQ CITY MEDICAL COLLEGE provides 2 types of seats :- govt and paid seats. Govt seats requires higher marks in neet for counseling than paid seats. The govt seats has total fees of ?24,66,000 that's 274000 per semester and ?1cr for paid seats which is 20 lakhs per year. It may increase according to administration decisions and govt fixed rates. Different scholarships are available if your criterias are fit to the terms. College authority will approve scholarships accordingly. The course is for 5.5 years including the mandatory paid rotational internship for 1 year.

The campus is huge and has various indoor and outdoor games and other activities. The annual function is recorrenza which is conducted in winter season. Social connection is good. The senior junior bonding is great. Different tournaments of various games are also conducted.

Hostel is provided with one bed , chair , table and a almirah. 24 hour water service provided with warm and cold water. Water purifier present for mineral water. Accommodation has 3 types and 2 subtypes. Single , double and triple sharing rooms available with or without air conditioning. Mess provides 4 meals a day. Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner is provided. Rent rooms available inside or outside campus.

I have chosen this college after watching the patient outflow which will give me practical knowledge, the academic section is strictly bound to rules and provides best education. The teachers are well qualified and experienced. They guide the students properly. The alumnis of this college has also recommended the college for its good reputation in terms of education, treatment facilities, and patient feedback.

Student teacher ratio is good. Teachers are helpful and guides students as per their the difficulties faced by the students. They are approachable and clear doubts. The study duration is for 4.5 years. 1st year includes pre clinical subjects like anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. 2nd year contains para clinical subjects like pathology, pharmacology and microbiology. 3rd year has community medicine, forensic medicine and toxicology, ophthalmology and ENT. 4th year includes 4 major subjects and 5 minor subjects. Major has gen medicine, gen surgery, obs and gynae and paediatrics. Minor has psychiatrics , ortho, derma ,etc. The exams are conducted in different times. There includes semester exam , part completion exam, pre proff exams and proff exams. Exam difficulty varies but usually on moderate to high levels. Pass percentage is 40% for theory and practical and 50% on aggregate i.e both theory and practical. Marking scheme depends on university rules and regulations but it's difficult to score marks. One has to give their best to pass with good marks.

College has its own gym for students and faculties in different time schedules. Cafeteria for gossip is present with ambient environment. The central library contains thousands of books for increasing the knowledge about medical science. Hostel in timings are 9-10pm. The junction mall outside the campus is the best place for hangouts and chilling with friends.
