Infrastructure should be improved in this college. There is a urgent need of a good canteen. And the campus should be more clean.
Entrance Preview
I have cleared the WBJEE exam and ranked 562 in medical. So i take mbbs. This college is situated near my home and i am well known to this college. So i take mbbs in that college.
Internships Opportunities
Internship was very stressful but enjoyable with lots of new experience to learn. Stipend was around 16000/- per month. That was a bit less than the work we done during internship.
Placement Experience
In this profession everybody knows about the job opportunities. Private institutes also prefer more interns from my college.
College Events
Many events were celebrated throughput the year. A freshers welcome, a Social Fest for 4 days, Cine fest - film festival, Rhythm- welcome ceremony for newcomers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As this is a government institution the fee structure is affordable. Tuition fee is 9000/- per year and hostel + meal charge is around 2500/- per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee waiver scholarship was offered. That was a merit cum means scholarship offer to the poorer students who cant afford the tuition fees.
Campus Life
As this college takes only 150 students per year there is a very pleasant campus life. Interpersonal relationship wsa very good. Gender ratio is around 60:40 (m:f). Only one apolitical association runs the students affairs. So no politics.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms were not so luxurious. Those were shared accommodation with 4 persons per room. Multiple activities like gymnasium, table tennis, tennis, football, cricket and many indoor events happened throughput the year.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors were very helpful and friendly. They hwlp us in learning the important skills that we need for our profession. As total students are less every students know each other.
Exam Structure
Exams were very tough. But there was no problem as the exam was conducted in our own college. Practical exams also conducted in our own labs with external examiners.
Faculty
1st year faculties were very nice. From 2nd year onwards clinical teaching was very good but theoritical was mediocre. There was shortage of facilities and the present facilities manage by doing extra duties.
