Placement Experience

5

It is a medical college so companies do not come here like other engineering colleges. We have a compulsory placement in our college for one year. After that we may join as a House staff or we can prepare for NEET PG Examination.

College Events

5

Spandan the college fest, Roshnai the annual cultural program, Rabindra Jayanti, Independence Day, Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, Twilight the convocation day, Bonjournova the Freshers, Inter batch cricket tournament, Inter batch football tournament, Night football tournament, Night Volleyball tournament, Night short cricket tournament, Blood donation camp.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible only Rs. 4500 per semester and total course fee is Rs. 40500 for 4 and half years. Payment method is by cash only. No additional fees are required. Very much transparent no duplicacy at all. For university examination we have to submit fees and it's around Rs. 500-600 per subject.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've no scholarship no education loan till now. College fees are too less so no need of any loans. College fees are only Rs. 4500 per semester and we have only nine semester so it's very less no need of any loan.

Campus Life

2.5

One annual festival called Spandan (for 2days) we bring Bollywood playback singers to perform and also local bands DJs. Gender ratio is around 3:2 (M:F). A big football ground. Cricket and Volleyball are also played. Along with table tennis and carrom we enjoyed our evening. One cultural competition called Roshnai helds once in a year. Events like singing, dancing, debate, quiz, fashion show, art etc are being arranged.

Hostel Facilities

3

I haven't opted for hostels. Hostel rooms are not that good shared by 3 students. Toilets are very much dirty. Corridors and stairs are not that clean. So that I arranged a PG costs 8000/month, shared with 3 of my friends.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very much helpful. They guide us every time not only in academics but every aspect of our college days as well as personal matters.

Admission

NEET 2017 Examination (May), All India rank is released, State rank is released. Verification process is for your marks in boards, live in this state or not, medical certificate, caste certificate (if any). Counselling process is for choice filling of colleges. College allocation is published. Admission process in respective colleges.

Faculty

2.5

Number of lecturers are quite good. All the departments do not provide good quality professors compared to the colleges around the country. For clinical subjects quantity of professors are very good. Average age is about 40-55 years. They are very much experienced and all are holding MD/MS degrees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.
