College Review

The college management is efficient and helpful. They have helped me a lot for many things.

This is mainly an Engineering college although it also provides courses like BBA, BCA and MBA. This college has one of the best faculties and the labs are well equipped with modern devices. The college is accredited to NBA and AICTE. It is owned by Techno India Group. It provides good research opportunities and placement opportunities.

The placements is good and more than 70% students get placed in top industry giants, some of them being TCS, Infosys, CTS, etc. They also provide internship opportunities to the students.

Every year the college organises technical fest and cultural fest. The technical fest is named Avenue and it is one of the biggest technical events in Kolkata. It is attended by top IITs and NITs. Apart from these events the college conducts many technical seminars and workshops throughout the year.

The fees structure is feasible just like other private Engineering Colleges. It costs approximately 4lacs in 4 years. There are also reserved quotas for students coming from weaker financial backgrounds. There are no added fees apart from the overall package.

I have not opted for any scholarships or financial aids. My father has paid the entire fees himself.

The campus is quite beautiful and clean. The campus life is worderful and enjoyable. The gender ratio is approximately 70:30 for boys: girls. The college organises many extra-curricular activities throughout the year. It also conducts technical workshops and seminars.

I currently have not opted for hostel facilities because my house is nearby to the colleges. There are adequate good hostel facilities of the college which are clean and inexpensive. Moreover there are mess and pg facilities nearby.

The college has a strong alumni network. Every department has an annual Alumni meet. I belong to the ECE department which conducts an annual Alumni meet every year named Homecoming.

This is one of the best private Engineering colleges in Kolkata. The entrance criteria is through WBJEE and AIEEE. I heard about this college from my brother who is also an alumnus of this college. I had this college in my mind while appearing for WBJEE and when I secured my rank l, I got a chance of joining this college and I grabbed the opportunity.

The faculty of this college is one of the best in Kolkata. Most of them have completed their PhD from top universities and they are very good in the topics they teach. The college has many technical clubs like Phoenix, etc which are headed by the respective faculties.
