Remarks

The course structure needs improvement, credit system is abysmal, the management under Anuradha Lohia is doing an abysmal job that can be cited as the case study of "How to ruin an institution in 3 easy steps".

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course curriculum is outdated. Not at all relevant. People who teach and design the course, design them according to what they know, not according to what is needed to survive in todays cutthroat competition world. But as for the name and high standards, my surroundings were bit better, hence I reaped some benefits.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes, got my first job from college, because we had an outstanding dean of students affairs. I got a nice package, but it was our dean who took the initiatives for the placements, which were open to all.

College Events

5

We had many programmes, debates, film festivals, cultural events, and what not. Most of them were a bait to attract students to do dirty works in the names of campus politics. But they provided relief from otherwise busy schedule in the college that was the norm otherwise.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are very less, as this is a government college. We paid 150 rs per semester. This is not at all a problem. Given that We had many programmes, debates, film festivals, cultural events which provided relief from otherwise busy schedule in the college that was the norm otherwise, fees were not a problem.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, it was not at all available. Most of the times, people didn't even knew what were the criteria for scholarships, and they missed it.

Campus Life

1.5

We had many programmes, debates, film festivals, cultural events, and what not. Most of them were a bait to attract students to do dirty works in the names of campus politics. But they provided relief from otherwise busy schedule in the college that was the norm otherwise. Gender ratio was very good, and some departments had a skewed ratio. But overall, misogyny etc. were prevalent.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel fees are very less, as this is a government college. This is not at all a problem. Given that We had many programmes, debates, film festivals, cultural events which provided relief from otherwise busy schedule in the college that was the norm otherwise, fees were not a problem. Food was abysmal though.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, even of it is not organized, but the people from the college have a sense of togetherness, and that is probably one of the very few redeemable quality of this college.

Admission

It was one of the premier institutes, that offers wide range of subjects along with a sense of superiority among other colleges. The admission process is notified through the website, and one can look for it into the website. After it is published, you can fill up the form and hope for the best.

Faculty

2

Faculties are dinosaurs, teaching in this modern world. The course curriculum is outdated. Not at all relevant. People who teach and design the course, design them according to what they know, not according to what is needed to survive in todays cutthroat competition world.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

As i love accounting , i made a choice to choose this course which is easy and has good ammount of value too. The curriculam preapers the students in devloping their problem solving skills , and explore the society. The college needs to have a more devolped library for students convinece.
