Admission
I chose Presidency University for its infrastructure, faculty, and placements. Applied to other colleges but didn't get my top choice due to cutoffs. Admission was via entrance exams and merit-based selection.
Faculty
Faculty and Teaching Quality: The faculty at Presidency University is well-qualified, with a student-to-faculty ratio of around 18:1, ensuring good interaction. Most professors are approachable and supportive, though some rely too much on theoretical lectures. A few stand out for their engaging teaching methods, while others could make classes more interactive. Course Structure and Exams: Each semester has two major exams: Mid-term and End-term, along with internal assessments and practical evaluations. Mid-term Exams: Held mid-semester, relatively easier if you stay consistent. End-term Exams: More comprehensive and slightly tougher but manageable with regular study. Passing Criteria: Minimum 30% in both exams and 40% aggregate to pass. Exam difficulty varies; technical subjects can be challenging, but overall, they are fair.
Night Life
