Overall I rate college at 4/5 but it should make Alumni network strong.

We have semester system here. where in every semester we have 2 Unit Tests then final examinations. College should improve the course for 1st Year Students as it covers the basics of engineering. I learned Scada here from Mini S Thomas madam you may Google this. & Electrical Machines such a vast Topic but covered beautifully by Mr. Hamid Sir (Thanks to him). labs are sufficient here, & here we have to submit 2 Projects in Final Year (Minor & Major). I submitted the project on Hybrid Microgrid. As I got placed at SIEMENS LTD. I am able to utilize my knowledge regarding Induction Motors which are there in our portfolio business &We here do business in Plc, HMI & Scada as well. College shaped my path by clearing the basics which I am able to use in my company. yes, we have had industrial Visits also at NTPC badarpur plant & NHPC as well.

Some of the best company recruits GTE from here like SIEMENS, L&T, HSBC, Lava, TCS (R&D wing), Infosys etc. in recruitment it has the most transparent system. Class representative collected the basic data / Resumes from us. Submitted to Companies. companies took Technical test + Logical Reasoning test. based on Merit they selcted students for Final Technical interview, GD & then HR Interviews. I think 60% of students got the offers from campus placement drives.

It is the most amazing part of a University. Here, we had Welcome party organized by Seniors, Individual Department fests, intra-Departements Sports, also Central Fest (University Fests ). farewell party, I think every month there was fest/ party always happened where one can join.

It is the most feasible University in India & Most underrated as well. People from poor financial background are highly recommended to join this. Mode of payment are DD(DEMAND DRAFT), RTGS, & Cheques. we had 1500 INR charge for library's & other facilities. No, there were no hidden charges applicable.

I didn't avail any loan as fees was affordable. As college is prestigious if anyone requires financial assistance Banks were there to support for this. SBI & Allahabad Banks branches also in campus for easy access to students.

It has students from all the backgrounds Religious/ Regions wise. It supports minorities. Labs are good but for sports we have very good stadium sometimes Ranji Matches happened (YUVRAJ, SEHWAG & HARBHANJAN SINGH Played there ). Table tennis table were plenty. good thing was that different students from different college like IIT-D, DTU joined workshops & took part in various competitions.

As I was from Delhi so, I was not eligible for this. but I can share the experience rooms were very clean. if you join Jamia pls forget about fees it is very much affordable around 2500 per month. I suppose. it has Common room where you can play Table tennis & watch TVs. It has very good play ground where you can play cricket, volleyball, Basketball etc.

Yes, most of my Seniors are working in prestigious organization like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Texas instruments, Some are Government Class-A officers. it has very good legacy beyond it.

I cleared Jamia Millia Islamia Engineering Entrance Exam with Rank & got my First choice Electrical Engineering. I opted this course as it has equal opportunity in both Government & Private Sectors. also, I can switch myself to Electronics stream as well. I chose Jamia MIllia over DTU(DCE) as I was not getting the branch I required in DTU. Also, it is a central University where overall annual fees is very affordable (Important for me). Electrical Engineering professors are very good here for e. g. Mr. Majid Jamil for Power System, Mr. Hamid Sir for Electrical Machines. Also, college is in Delhi which I can commute easily from my Home(in Delhi). I got Placement in very good MNC for Electrical Engineers, SIEMENS LTD. Which shaped my career Path. now admissions are through Jee Main Examination, they make Merit list for which you have to fill the application form separately.

My department (Electrical Engineering) Most of professors are PHD in different subject Like Control Systems etc. Which help us to understand the topics better. yes, Hamid Sir, was always invited by PSUs like BHEL to teach their Engineers. Most of my professors were 15+ years experienced.
