My love towards college

My college was indeed best college in my opinion. Apart from education, my college imparted us good culture, humanity and we also got developed good sports, helping to poor people.

The learnings career by our revered teachers and Monks were very useful and appropriate for right education which helped us to get placement in College Campussing. Apart from that, industrial training, technical course were conducted. And we got accomodated accordingly to vie for College Placement and we got succeeded. Big giants industry like Tata Steel, Tata motors, L&T and software stalwarts like TCE, CTS, IBM etc came in our college for campus recruitment.

Big companies like L&T, Shapporji, Skanska Cementation India Simplex etc came to recruit civil engineering course. For system of those companies, we had to seat for written examination and those students after getting selected from written test, had to face final interview. I also got selected for campus interview and I also got job in same procedure in in Skanska Cementation India Limited. The tentative 15 percent students for placement in every year in our time. And our college teachers catered training and special techniques for cracking written test and facing Interview and we got succeeded. Really we are stil grateful to our teachers.

The events of our college were cekebted in out time. 1. Welcome to Freshers: : In this event, a lot of revelry was held and we enjoyed a lot through Songs, Dance, and foods. Our freshers also enjoyed 2. Inter class Football competition : This event was very hillarious and we participated sincerely.and our teachers also participated as referees and advisors. 3. Science Exhibition : We made Technical things which were shown to spectators and our talents got appreciated. As

As my college was Government sponsored and private organisation RAMAKRISHNA MISSION aided and we had to pay a minimum fees to college and were much comfortable towards college fees. And college did not ask any additional fees.Hence fees structure was very feasible to every students.

Yes, college had scholarship opportunity and the criteria was obtaing 90 percent marks and annual income of family should be ?10000 or less. The average scholarship amount was ?5000 for successful students.

As we don't had any female students, there was no gender ration. The laboratory and wokshops were excellent that suited to students to get proper skill as per industrial practice. And no political intervention was observed during our time. And economic status of the college was good also

Our college did not have any hostel facility. Although, our away students had to stay nearby Paying Guest Rooms in which monthly charge was ?600 -?900 including meals ( Breakfast and dinner). And in one room of Paying Guest, 4 students stayed as sharing basis.

We have still better relation with our seniors and alumni who always help us to decide our career path and new jobs

I had to seat for Entrance Test which was conducted by West Bengal Technical Council and my name was got selected in merit list. After that, Counselling was conducted and then I was asked by counselling committee to choose some colleges for admission and I chose my college and got admitted. I chose my college as this college has an excellent ambience of discipline, culture and education as wel as very good professors.

I am not the right person to assess towards college lectures as they are respected persons. But our lecturers are highly qualified and competent to teach the classes and their teaching skill helped us to attain good knowledge and learnings which were so relevant in those time and for the maximum students of our college got campus recruitment. Apart from that, some of our professors had relevant skill of Industrial certificate.
