Remarks
Overall it was a good experience. Just one con- Capping of CGPA at 5/10 for even one back led to my worst placements and left me with less opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum and exam structure is just average, during my 4 year of graduation every year we had change in exam structure. It is very irrelevant as compared to other universities. Curriculum was good enough and provided industry-specific knowledge to the students and with professional professors it did help in securing on-campus placements easily.
Placement Experience
Dell R&D, Yamaha, L&T, SplashBI, NxtGen, To The New, Skyways and many more. General steps followed in the recruitment drive of these companies are- 1)Recruitment Mail and registration 2)Aptitude exam 3)Technical rounds 4)Technical Interviews 5)HR interviews Tentative percentage of students placed every year from your campus is 98%.
College Events
Uurja was the annual fest celebrated at the college. All year round we had cultural events and technical society events organised over the year. These events are big with uurja having strength of more than 5000 students and other events with strength from 500-1000 students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure - feasible or expensive - EXPENSIVE. Program fee and the mode of payments accepted by the college- Program fee was increased year on year and mode of payments being - cash, online, neft, card. Yes, 100000 admission fees and 20000 security fees. Yes, the fee structure is transparent but they charge 5000 for any back secured in a subject.
Campus Life
Gender ratios- 60/40 Boys/Girls, Student/Dorm Parties- not allowed by the college, would be detente if found, workshops- Regular workshops from industry experts and new tech, cultural societies or Student diversity- Every type of society with student integration and tolerance with regards to gender - was good regardless of ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, seniors were much helpful in getting started with college. We had official ragging organised in the college between juniors and seniors which was one of the pathetic ways of getting introduced to seniors.
Admission
Through entrance exam and unique domain oriented courses made me choose this college. The college has a fantastic location and with connectivity to college is an added advantage. Steps for admission are as follows- 1)Entrance exam 2)Counselling 3)Registration 4)Commencement of course
Faculty
In one year, per course there were 36-48 lectures. Average age being 30. Qualification was mostly post graduation and some with industry level experience. Domain expertise was with the professors having enough experience in the subject. No certification, just years experience with the subject.
