Career and objective.

I think the college is perfectly fine and does their work with honesty and on time. Just needed it to be a lil less commercial, the college feel is really mandatory which is lacking in the current college I am in.

The teaching is wonderful in the current college I am in. We have visiting faculty and not permanent class teachers which makes it a little difficult because they are already working and also doing this teaching but apart from that I am really satisfied with the performance of our college towards this course.

Sorry, but I have less knowledge on this particular topic. I have other internships related to sports and IT too.

We have Kshitij as our most famous college festival, Bollywood stars come to promote their upcoming movies, there are huge brands and companies that do work with us and collaborate with us, there are 100’s of students that participate to showcase their talent and this fest is considered to be one of the biggest fest in Mumbai.

Very feasible. I am doing my masters and my fees for the year is 13,000. And yes, the college does provide transparency in the fee breakdown. Also only DD is accepted in the form of payment which is a good system as well. There are no additional fees that the college take apart from the annual fees.

No, I didn’t. The college according to me haven’t offered any scholarship opportunities for this course.

Our college (Mithibai) is really good with its cultural activities. We do have a lot of debates, stand ups, shows, trips every now or then organised either by the college or students. The gender ratio is pretty 50/50. It’s a pretty diverse college in terms of students and culture.

Alumni is really helpful but only sometimes. Interaction between senior and junior students at least in our course is not a lot. We have different timings and working days so it’s difficult to connect with the seniors.

I wanted to pursue MA in Economics because I had done my BA in Economics from Wilson college. Finding Bachelor course in economics is not that difficult but there are less colleges that offers masters in economics. Mithibai was one of them and also Mumbai university. I got into Mithibai college through my merit. I opted for Mithibai and not Mumbai university also because of the distance from my house.

We have 4 subjects in total and thus have 4 teachers for each subject (visiting faculty) They are between the age of 24-30, either did their masters or phd. We have a professor for development economics who is around 60 years old and teaches really well.
