Remarks

The College is situated beside bank of river torsha and having wonderful atmosphere throughout the year.the professors are well experienced and helpful.the infrastructure of college is pretty good in comparison to many govt. Engineering college and well equipped. The reason behind to choose this college bcz i got my preferred branch and the scenic environment of this college

The college have 5 department ee,me,ece,cs,civil and some dept.is going to open soon,coming to facilities,they are well experienced and helpful the college also provide industrial internship program time to time in my dept.

In this year students from cs,ece got chance from on campusing in tcs,wipro, cognizant, Infosys etc one of my senior also placed in intel and don't have such information about off campusing whereas in core some of my senior get placement in Hitachi, icici bank, and many more are in search of job as bcz they are currently in 8sem till now and full information about placements is yet to come many of my senior from core branch have also cracked gate exam with good rank.

The college organize many events like freshers program, cultural &techni fest, football,ballyball,cricket, bedminton tournament, sarswati puja, Vishwakarma puja and banmohat sab, and various workshops program to add value in life of students

There are many scholarship program run by state government and cenral govt for which one can opt for like svmcm and Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship, West Bengal and various minorities scholarship

The infrastructure of the college is pretty good in comparison to many govt. Engineering college and well equipped,the size of college campus is 21 acres and the campus have full wifi connection, coming to library you can get 2books at a time.

The hostel is fully connected with wifi and have great infrastructure.boys probably get hostel in 3rd year but in coming days their is a chance to get hostel in between 3rd to 4th sem as whease girls easily get hostel in 1st year

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
