Remarks

The reason for choosing Christ university is mainly because of its diversity. Christ consist of students not only from all over India but it consist of people all over the world. The second main thing for choosing Christ is its value and ethics. Christ (deemed to be university) has its main value to as Excellence and service. Also Christ university provides a lot of opportunity to each and everyone to develop oneself.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

As far as my syllabus is concerned, it is similar to the Bangalore University, but Christ is a deemed to be university its has redesigned the curriculum and syllabus. The syllabus designed in a way which it is useful for our future. Also the faculty are highly educated and highly experienced. So there is no drawback when it comebacks to Course Curriculum, Academics, Faculties. I would say Mrs. Mary Rani Thomas ma’am who was my class teacher in my first semester.

Internships Opportunities

No. Not yet placed in internships

Placement Experience

5

The company’s visited are highly corporate firms Like KPMG, Pwc, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, Amazon, etc. As am second semester student, am not sure with the placement process of my university. But training opportunities are provided by the university for the placement of students

College Events

5

My college festivities include names like Darpan, Blossoms, Blooms and Bhasha Utsav and many more festivals. All the cultural functions and festivals are encouraged by the management. Everyone can participate in all of the feats and management compels students to do so. Management festivals are like Praram, Parivarthana and etc. The festivals are well organised and they are conducted properly.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I have not availed a loans or scholarships in my college. But after the completion of first semester, college provides scholarships for students based on their percentage of the marks they score. Also college provide free lunch for students are less fortunate.

Campus Life

5

Infrastructure is in its peak in my campus. Christ university consist of 3 library( each library consisting of 2 floors each) and separate experiment labs for Ethnobotany, chemistry, information technology and for physics. It has space and separate sports ground for football, hockey, basketball, badminton, handball and it also has a gym and sports room. Christ provides free wifi and IT facilitates for its students and it is equipped with latest scientific and technological equipment.

Hostel Facilities

5

No. I don’t stay in campus hostel. I say in private apartment near my campus. The inside campus accommodation is few and it is mainly for NRI students. The average cost of accommodation is of Rs. 13000. And there is many PG’s near the campus and also you can avail services form stanzaliving.com or serenityhostels.com for accommodation.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.
