Central university of Haryana is a central university. NAAC A graded university. Teacher student is good here 10:1 in Ug programs and 7:1 in PG program. Huge infrastructure, located in peaceful pollution free area in Haryana at Mahendergarh.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is updated here and every attempt is made by university to provide best opportunity to its students. 45 days of summer training is compulsory in 3rd year of B.tech.I did my training at Harduaganj thermal power plant,Aligarh. 6 months of internship is also compulsory in 8th semester. Guest lectures, workshops are few held for B.tech but for other pg programs regularly taken. Ajay Kumar Bansal who is dean and faculty in electrical engineering is most caring for welfare of his students and his P.HD paper is in top ten in country in power system.
Placement Experience
Only few students from MCA get placed, B.VOC department students also get placed with 20000 per month. Even single B.tech is not placed and expected that no company is coming for engineering students as B.tech batch(2016-20) being first batch. Placement at central university of Haryana is not good.
College Events
SPANDAN is annual cultural fest organized by university in which participants from more than ten universities participate. International Conference on Trends in Computational and Cognitive Engineering (TCCE-2019) (28-30 November 2019). AMI
Fees and Financial Aid
Top two students of every department is provided scholarship half tuition fee is waived. Earn while you learn (EWYL) is provided for BPL 200 Students in which students have to work one hour per day, student work 5 days of a week.Rs 100 is paid per day.
Campus Life
Academic infrastructure, hostel infrastructure are best and follows norms of CPWD and central government. Playground is available but stadium is not constructed. Medical facilities,canteen is available. Fast and uninterrupted Wi-fi is provided in whole working area of University. 30000 books are for UG library and more than 80000 books for pg Library. AC study room with capacity of 200 students.
Hostel Facilities
Presently 4 hostels working with 100 rooms each.Each room is given to 3 students on sharing basis. Rooms are spacious, wifi enabled, RO water, geyser is fitted in each hostels. Rs 9600 is charged yearly for each student.No problem in getting hostel if home is 60 km away and having reappear in exams.
