The BTech CSE course here has a good and updated curriculum. Most subjects here are useful and match with what is needed in the real life and tech industry. We get to learn both theory and practical topics which helps us understand coding, proramming and other technical skills as well. We learn subjects like Data Structures, DBMS ad python programming that are very helpful for real jobs and internships. The curriculum also includes lots of technologies like AI&ML and Cloud Computing, which is important. Overall the curriculum is good but with small improvements it can become excellent and best.

Our college gives few internship chances through the placement cell and tie-ups with companies like xebia, Wipro, TCS, ibm, and some startups. Roles offered here are software development, marketing, HR, and content writing. Many students get paid internships and some are unpaid but still helpful for learning. In my internship, I worked on improving a website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also learned teamwork and time management. It was a great experience and enjoyable together as well.

Here in KR Mangalam University, plcement opportunities start from the 6th semester. Many companies come to the campus for placements like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, HCL, and a few startups too. Some students also get internships before placements. The highest package offered was around 36 LPA and the average package is between 7 to 9 LPA. Most students get placed especially those who have good coding and communication skills. The university also helps students for their interviews and written , aptitude tests through training programs such as boot camps and my more ideas. After completing my degree, I plan to either get a job through campus placement or prepare for higher studies like M.Tech or go for government exams depending on situations.

In the 1st year of my B.tech the fees was 105000 per semester and the hostel fees was 77000 per semester but in the 2nd year the fees has been increased to 115000 and for hostel it was 80000 per semester.

My overall experience with campus life at KR Mangalam University has been okay!! The university organizes few events like annual fest "rendezvous" and technical fest “edude Fiesta”, which usually happen around February or March. These events are fun and help us relax and enjoy apart from studies. But there aren't many fests here in this university so life here is a bit of a struggle. The freshers didn't even happen for my batch. The library is big and has many useful books and journals. It’s easy to find study material and sit there quietly to study or complete assignments. There are many sports activities like football, basketball, cricket, badminton... There's a gym for hostellers as well. Students can take part in tournaments and regular fitness activities.

The hostel rooms are good and come with basic facilities like a bed, study table, chair, cupboard and fan. All rooms have air conditioning. The washrooms are shared but are cleaned regularly. Wi-Fi is also available but doesn't works very good. The food in the mess is average. The menu keeps changing and includes both North and South Indian dishes. Some days the food tastes good, and some days it’s bad. I'm saying bad because there are days where the food is not of my liking. The hostel registration process is simple. You need to fill out a form and pay the fees online or through the accounts office... The hostel fee is a bit high compared to nearby PGs, but the security and facilities are better.

I applied to a few other colleges like Amity University and Galgotiyas University. But due to high fees and long distance I did not join them. Also in some colleges, I didn;t get the branch i wanted. I chose KR Mangalam University because it offers BTech CSE with a good curriculum, affordable fees and it is near my home. The college also has a decent placement record and good infrastructure. the classrooms, labs, and environment are nice as well. Admission process here was very simple. I just had to fill out the online form then submit my documents and attend a small interview session. I got admission based on my 12th board marks. There was no entrance exam and the staff helped alot during the admission process.

The faculties can be approached easily. The CRs of the class are in touch with the faculties and they approach them whenever any student has any complaint or anything. The exams are of moderate level.

The nightlife here is calm and okay. Inside the campus there are not many late-night activities because the library, cafeteria close by 8 PM. The gym inside the hostel is open for use till 11. No late night activities allowed. We are allowed outside the campus till 9pm and outside the hostel building till 10pm. Overall, the area is safe to roam around till a reasonable time and while it's not a party loving, it's peaceful and student-friendly.
