Central uni of Haryana review

I took English literature because I like reading novels. I think this curriculum helps us broaden our mindset and gives us different perspective or views on someone's actions or situations. Since we have dramas too it would be perfect if there were practical dramas performed sometimes. In one Sem we have one exam along with two internal tests. The exam starts from 10 till 1 pm. They are quite tough.

Admissions fee is given when we do admission as a fresher which was about 4400 something, other than that hostel fees was around 10,000 maybe, I don't think there is any tuition fees or etc bt examination fee is about 4600. My batchmates fees are a bit higher than mine about 200 aur 300 maybe because I belong to st category. I don't have information about scholarship or financial aid which maybe available in our university.

I think the campus life is boring because the area is too remote and due to the racism it is sometimes hard to get involve in social activities as there are constant stares by people. We have annual program call spandan where all the states performes in competitions, it is usually held in February i think.we have a good library and u think there is good amount of novels and journals that we need in it.

I chose CUH because of the campus and infrastructure I saw online and because I did not want to go to CUJ and did not want remain stuck studying in Arunachal Pradesh. I also applied in DU and BHU but could not ho to BHU because I didn't have my 3rd Sem marskheet then and i could not go to du because I only got into du when I had already started going to CUH for a month. The admission process was very easy as everything could be done online. I don't know about the elibility and the cutoffs but I had 92 marks and I belong to st category but there were others most who had lower marks than me.

The faculty is definitely good and they are probably the reason i don't regret about choosing the university. I liked our previous HOD the most because he was very approachable and interactive with the students.i don't think I hate any of the faculties. We have two internal tests of 10 marks in a semester and the questions van vary sometimes it's tough and sometimes it's easy.

The hostel gates remains open till 10 pm at night and till then we have time to play or eat anything. We mostly go to a place name baitek to eat. I don't have any idea about late night activities in campus and i think most students stays in their hostel rooms after class because of the heat. We have gym in hostels but there are little instruments, maybe 5 cafeterias, library in our department and we have Wi-Fi park. Cafeterias usually closes by 9 or 9:30 pm, and library by 10 pm. Some areas of the campus is safe for girls but there are some under areas which can be considered unsafe due to some past assaults on students.
