Course Curriculum Overview

4

So course Is all about supply chain management. How the retail and logistics work, what is the key areas and how they benifit the society. How the whole retail and logistics sector work and how both the sector are related to each other. So talking about the subjects in the course it's Business studies, Retail Management, Business statistics, Business Communication, Human Resource Management. And internalexams are conducted once prior to internship other after the internship and then final semester exam in the end of semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

So the companies offered for internship are Pantaloons ,SPAR Hypermarket, Reliance Retail Ltd,Delhi Duty Free Services ,om logistics, safe express etc. roles offered are sales associate, management trainee, store manager etc. Talking about stipend it is dependent upon the company if they offer then only it's paid other wise it's unpaid.

Placement Experience

5

So the internship starts from the very 1st semester and that's great because from the very 1st semester you start building contacts from different companies and that would definitely help you in placements but the placements actually starts from 5th semester. And if you're good enough then you can also get pre placement offers as well Companies visited are Pantaloons ,SPAR Hypermarket, Reliance Retail Ltd,Delhi Duty Free Services,Om logistics, Safe Express, Shopper's Stop.etc. Average package offered is 3 lpa to 4 lpa 90% of students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

So talking about fee structure as it being a central university the fees were very low for the courses. As I took admission in 2019 , I paid 10000 for the admission which included the fee for 1st semester. As I also opted for hostel as I am from Bihar but allotment of hostel is completely dependent upon how you score in the entrance exam and according to that hostels get alloted. Coming on hostel fees I paid 8000 for hostel which was for entire year and again it's too cheap. Later on the fees are mentioned below Semester fees- 12020/-semester (including exam fees , library charges) Hostel fees - 10000 from 2nd year Mess charges - 2575/-month That's it there isn't any hidden charges or extra fees like examination fee or something like that. So I would recommend it's too cheap.

Campus Life

4

So after you're admitted definitely there will be fresher party on faculty level but on a university level cultural fest are held in February known as SPANDAN then on a regular basis international conference are held annual sports meet is also organised any more.... There is central library in university in an entire floor having thousands of books available and even if you aren't able to find physical copy you can definitely get it on the e library and that's too for free.. The classes are highly advanced having e lecture and digital classroom.

Hostel Facilities

4

In hostel free wifi is provided and electricity is available 24*7 also RO water coolers are available on each floor for drinking water in summers and the washroom have both hot and normal water supplies. The quality of food provided in hostel mess is also great and also everyday there is different menu but sometimes they don't follow the menu. Hostel is alloted according to your performance in semester examination after your admission and before that according to you score in CUET. You need to register for hostel on the university website rest all is done offline in the university.

Admission

So one of the biggest reason for taking admission here was that it's central university and the fee structure here is affordable. As my whole course cost me just 1,40,000. Excluding hostel and mess charges. Also hostel fees are very nominal and too much of facilities are provided. I didn't get any rejection as I was pretty clear about what I have to do and where I need to get admitted . So when I joined there was Central University Common Entrance Test which you had to qualify and later select colleges and apply for them. But later it changed and now CUET is the test which you need to clear and get admitted. So i wouldn't discuss my admission journey it's completely different now.

Faculty

5

So talking about my department there were 7 faculties. they were too supportive and also they had good knowledge about there subject. Our incharge was Mr. Suyash Mishra he had a strong and bold personality and he was a great problem solver. Now coming to exam pattern in B.Voc. Retail and Logistics Management it was a three year course having six semesters. So in each semester there were two internal examination and one semester exam also in each odd semester there was 1 month internship compulsory for every student. Talking about difficulty level the exams were not that tough nor that easy too. And if somehow you fail in one or two paper you can give re examination in the next semester but if you fail in 3 papers then you will get a semester back and you'll have to again be in the same semester.

Night Life

5

There's gym in each and every hostel even it be boys or girls plus there's badminton court in every hostel where you can play any time there's no restriction on that. So campus in timing is 10:30 PM and hostel in timing is 12:00 am Wifi park is one of the most famous spot in the university. Also campus is completely safe even if you're alone in midnight guards are available 24*7 .
