Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum at my university is well structured and covers the core areas of Computer Science and Engineering in Decent manner . one of the aspects that influenced my decision to choose this course was balance between theoratical foudations like AI , DATA STRUCTERS etc and practical exposure through labs, The curriculum Is relevant for both real-world applications. The curriculum could include more industry-oriented electives , hands-on workshops , and updated modules on emerging technologies such as CLOUD COMPUTING , Cybersecurity and GEN AI. The frequency of exams can be said moderate students and can manage it properly with some efforts and difficluty level is easy to moderate because exam is designed by subject teachers and it comes from what they teach in notes and lectures .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of particularly BTech Cse currently for the 2025 to 2029 batch is ruppess 63172 yearly and it constant for all the years . It includes tution fees of ruppess 37800 yearly and remaining fees for other stuffs and it is same for categories eg obc , ews, general except SC&ST students their tution fees is not considered they only have to pay remaining fees of amount ruppess 25372 yearly and constant for all years . Now coming on the Scholarships currently there are no scholarship that our university provide especially for their students like from category general , obc , ews but there is scholarships for SC&ST Candidates to Study Abroad . University Conducts a Seminar on campus every year on how to avail for this Scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Campus LIfe at CUH is balanced and student-friendly . The annual fest Spandan (March) and technical fest Tech fest (October) bring energy to campus . The library offers a wide range of books and e-journals , though some niche topics may require online sources .Classrooms have basic tech like projectors ; labs are functional but could be upgraded . Sports facilities included grouds for cricket , football and badminton , with active student participation. Clubs like the Innovation Celland Coding club organize events that boost skills and peer interaction. Overall, CUH offers a decent mix of academics , social life and extracurriculars.

Hostel Facilities

4

I am currently staying in the CUH hostel, but getting room as a boy is really tough . Very few boys get allotment in their department and it is strictly based on merit . In contrast , girls usually get hostel rooms easily since there are more rooms available for them. The registration is done through the Samarth portal , but even after applyinng , many students do not get rooms unless they have high merit or some internal links with provost and there are 3 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels. Rooms are decent - you get a bed , big study table , chair , Almirah and ceeling fans . Washrooms are shared and cleaned reguraly . The mess food is okay not great - the menu feels very repetative . Overall the allotment process defineteky need more transparency and some changes.

Admission

I choose CUH over other universities beacause of the stability and transparency it offers compared to universities under Aktu, such as lucknow university where initially i got addmission . AKTU has a reputation for unpredictable exam schedules , no flexibility in exam dates and question papers much often set by external teachers , which creates unnecessary stress for students. Its image on social media also reflects these issues , which made me reconsider continuing there. The addmissikn process here was smooth and hassle-free. Everthing was well-coordinated , and i did not face any problems during my addmission . This chill and students -friendly process gave me a positive first impression of the university. Overall , I choose this college beacause it provides more reliable academic environment , cooperative faculty ,and a transparent sydetm , which i found missing in AKTU-affiliated colleges.

Faculty

5

The faculty members at my university are generally very helpful and cooperative . Most professors are approachable and supportive, always willing to guide students both academically and personally . Overall Teaching environment id Positive and students friendly . The faculty to student ratio is balanced and doubt resolution. Regarding academics , each year is divided into two semesters . In every semester students undergo two sessional exams before the final end-semester examination. This structure helps in continious assesment and preparation . The marking scheme follows the standard pattern adopted by other central universities , ensuring fairness transparency in evaluation.

Night Life

5

Nightlife around Central University of Haryana is quiet and laid-back . The campus itself winds down early - the library usually closes by 6Pm , cafet, erias by 11pm and the gym shut down arround 9pm for both boys and girls, so most students relax indoors after that . Popular Hangouts spots include the canteen area , badminton court and hostel lawns . Outside Campus , Students sometimes visit mahendragarh local market and local areas ike cafe and other stuffs , but options are limited and the area is safe and calm .

Other Applied Colleges

University of Lucknow - [LU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Because of the hectic schedule of renowned AKTU university and AKTU image is so degrading nowdays in Social media very much .

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Campus placements begin from the 6th semester. The highest package offered so far is Rs. 40 LPA, and the average package is around Rs. 8 LPA. A few companies have visited, and the placement cell is still growing. Exact placement percentages have not been shared yet. I plan to focus on internships and skill-building during the course and aim to apply for tech roles after graduation, both on-campus and off-campus.
