Remarks

h.r.college is the number one college in commerce sector for the past 25 years. the faculty is filled with experienced teachers and professors. it not only focuses on the academic section but also shows a great deal of interest in cultural activities as well as sports activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

the BMS course that i have enrolled contains the most recent and updated syllabus. the exams are held under the mumbai university and are therefore updated on yearly basis.the faculty is filled with maximum numbers for teachers containing Phd or masters and are filled with imense experience.

the placement takes places in three phases where a great number of companies come amd recruit students with good numbers. the main companies are the big four which comes almost every year and takes a great numbers of students. the alumni networking is amazing followed by the placement cells putting great efforts to provide maximum output.

College Events

the campus life is more than what an individual needs. there are lectures held from 11-2 with half an hour break with is convenient for everyone. there are also a number of cultural events taking places almost every month and the college participates in almost every fest.the college has a sports team for football, basketball and a number of other sports.

Likes

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and always willing to help with academic or research projects.
The campus infrastructure is excellent, featuring modern labs, a well-stocked library, and great sports facilities.
Placement opportunities are robust, with many top-tier companies visiting the campus for recruitment every year.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

A perfect blend of learning and industry exposure.

Likes

The faculty is extremely experienced and provides valuable industry perspective.
The campus is modern and equipped with smart classrooms, media, labs, studios and an excellent library.
The placement cell is very helpful and active, getting students placed with firm.

Dislikes

The hostel is not good so providing variety in food.
sometimes coordination between department can be smoother.
The course is a bit on the expensive side when it comes to fees.

Best College with Loving Memories

Admission:

The admission process is easy in my college. Students do not have to appear for any Entrance examination. For Taking admission in B.M.S course, students should get minimum45% marks and reserved category students should get 40% marks in Xll Standard.

I applied to Somaiya along with H.R. I did not accept somaiya as they dont have BAF program. I also chose this college mostly because it has more than 50 clubs and so much exposure. The admission in H.R. is simple. You have to fill application on HSNC university website. Fill your details. Wait for merit list and you get admission if you pass the eligibility criteria which is 70% for sindhis and 80% for open category.
