Remarks
I wanted to do BSc in microbiology and I had got good reviews about the microbiology faculty of Jai Hind. Also, it’s like 15 minutes away from my place so that’s there. Jai Hind is one of the best colleges in South Bombay and I’m happy that I got into it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Okay so Jai Hind has become autonomous since the last few years so they have started to update their syllabus taking the recent developments into consideration. We are also taken to industrial visit. All facilities are very good but I’m more connected to the microbiology department because that’s my core subject.
Placement Experience
To be very honest, I have no clue about the placements and job opportunities. There is a placement and entrepreneurship cell in college. I have seen quite a few people join it but then again I don’t know much about it.
College Events
There are a lot of fests that take place in college. To be very honest, I lost a count of the number of fests. Shout, Josh and Kani are the known cultural fests. People from various colleges participate in them.
Campus Life
The campus of Jai Hind is not that big but that doesn’t stop it from from providing good sports facilities. There’s a basketball,cricket and a football team. There are a number of carrom and chess boards. Also, there’s a table tennis table. The library is very big and one can lend from books from there and e-book facility is also available. All labs are well equipped.
