Remarks

The college is ranked as one of the best college for law aspirants. Thus, it created a sense of confidence and security to be a part of such esteemed University. The atmosphere there is amazing and progressive, which i heard before. Also, as the college is so good the expectations of having good mentors was also there. Also, doing post graduation from such a college would widen my scope for future, if i pursue my career in teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The syllabus is updated and we are made aware about the current scenario in law. Given enough of research work which gave a different outlook towards the course. Amazing faculty with lot of exercises to enhance the skills.

Placement Experience

2.5

Being an LL.M. student we were not given enough options for placement. Also, this corona reduced every possibility. Thus, this is not a stream on which i can answer much. But the college no where guarantees placement also.

College Events

3.5

Our college has lot of events. Organising of moot court competition, debate competition, various cultural events and celebration of festivals of all the cultures of India. However, being soo secluded felt a little less exposed to outside world.

Campus Life

3

Sports facilities is not that good. Wifi was good in the campus. Library is huge with amazing offline and online sources as well. Also, given with proper rooms for discussions so as to avoid any noise.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms are small for two occupancy. Plus, being a post graduation student you expect a single room. Hostel being in the campus itself was always convenient though. Also, not properly maintained. Needs improvement in there maintenance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Master of Law(LLM) is an advanced two years postgraduate degree in which candidates research law. I wanted to improve my knowledge in law and apply for govt job that's why I chose this course. The faculty in Mahatma Gandhi Law College has many years of experience in the field of Law especially in Crimes and Tort. Through Intense Research and analysis I learned a lot of new things in this course. They use Case Studies, Practicals, and Group Discussion methods for proper understanding of subjects. The LLM course will be of two-year duration and spread across four semesters.
