What Students Say
Likes
- The exposure is really great. You meet with a very diverse group of people
- The placements are phenomenal. 18 lakhs for a fresher
- The campus size is great. You can roam around and everything
Dislikes
- There is a department of management. This is supposed to be a law University
- The location of the college. It is 40 km away from the city
- The fees is too much when it is supposed to be a government college
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very comprehensive. Most of the substantial law subjects are divided in two parts and are spread across two smeesters. They are assigned credit value as well. They prepare a individual pretty well for real world.
Internships Opportunities
Our college offers internship in and after the third year. We are primarily offered internships in Law Firms which usually translate into PPOs. Before the third year, we have to get internships ourselves.
Placement Experience
The placements of our college is genuinely great. Even in a bad job market, our college has placed 100% time and again. The average package is also very good, being North of 18LPA. we usually get placed in Law Firms
Fees and Financial Aid
Two lakhs and ninethy seven thousand rupees for the first year. It reduces in the second year and then progress through the five years of our college. This fee is inclusive of everyrhing, including academics and hostel
Campus Life
The campus life of NALSAR is undoubtedly the best among the top-3 law colleges of India. There are fests evey month. The mess food is decent. Academics are only as hectic as you make them. We live near a Lake.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are not that great but are decent. For the first three years we have double sharing rooms and for the last two years we have single rooms. The room size is on the smaller side but overall it's not that bad
Admission
I chose this college because it is the second best law college of our country. I didn't apply to any other college. The admision is through a national exam, known as CLAT. I was AIR 163 and got admitted into NALSAR
Faculty
There are different kinds of faculties here. Most of them are very good in their respective fields but when it comes to giving marks and stuff, they can potentially be very very arbitrary. Overall it's ok.
