Kamala nehru was my last option, i did not really know the college or heard about it, after taking back my admission from applied psy from gargi, i came to pursue ba hons psychology in knc, the staff of psychology department is really good, i chose the course because it was my interest to be a psychologist.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus is up to date with latest amendments. Exposure in knc is fair with okay amount of internship opportunities that come through college but yes speakers come very often. Knc has a good faculty in psychology Shivani ma'am, itisha nagar, Divya ma'am are good teachers with excellent knowledge in their subjects.
Internships Opportunities
I internshiped at apollo hospital for 1 month under a psychologist, Dr. Rekha. I had to pay for the internship, 8k. Its was goof experience for the first time but it wad expensive. I saw patients sitting beside the doctor and learned how to take some psychological tests.
Placement Experience
I searched for knc's alumni when i first joined the college but couldn't find any famous one. The placement department id quite inactive with one or two events hardly. For the first time there was a placement/ internship fair at the college with few companies. I hope to get a good placement but i don't see it happening.
College Events
Fests of knc are okay, its not up to mark like other colleges of du like hindu but it makes an impact with good celebrities. It is not very big but thr management team works hard for it. Every department has their fest which is celebrated and appreciated by all and stalls got food and other attractions are their.
Campus Life
Knc WiFi networks or even mobile networks are very weak,sports facilities are below average, library is fairly big with 2 floors, equipments for practicals are not enough, the washrooms are really terrible and smelly. Its benches are uncomfortable.
