Remarks

Placement is good, environment is fine, well educated teachers with high degrees,For a single class test there was a strict rules,no fake marks allocated to students,as well it's was near my hometown,this college is a brand that really helpful in getting jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was old as per today's time.Lengthy syllabus for each subject.Teacher named Kuntal Mukherjee and Pratho sir,they are the two who are real genius.I guess they should be in some IIT colleges rather than BIT.

Taush technology Hyderabad, learned android and no stipend provided.

Mostly sales companies used to visit which was for both mba and MCA students,they were just like fulfilling the duty of placement tag. Few well established companies came like ibm with 70000 package, Deloitte with 8000,Amdocs with 650000 and rest of sales with 3-400000 of package.

College Events

There was society,and it was also risky to organize anything in that,no teachers gave importance to that.Bitotsav is the big fest that was organised once in a year,but students of lalpur campus never got that chance of happiness in attending the fest.poor us

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship was provided to the non general students.That was also not on time,teachers were lazy to do the formalities needed for filling forms of scholarship forms,they used to make excuses a lot,I have seen my friends suffering from this kind of their behaviour.

Campus Life

Old,not so attractive,broken benches,broken glasses,dirty toilets. Few tress,no dustbins, no place for students to sit expect the classroom,small parking,no canteen, boring environment, not even good flowers,there was no permanent national flag in our college.

Hostel Facilities

Vatika Hostel,near my college,it was best among all the hostels over there.Neat and clean and not much involvement of owners. Seperate induction was also provided,and had a good environment to study well.

In our college placement companues was visited definitely but they had not provided at highest packages to anyone. from the 5th semester they started their process and upto last semester they select some candidates and some did not. Average packages in our college its around 1.5 LPA to 2.5 LPA and the providing companies are like :- zomato, swiggy, wipro, Tech Mahindra etc.

Placement cell was also made in our college and after semester 5th recruitment agencies are approaching to campus for campus placement of the students but not in high number of placement companies are available for highring. Zomato, Swiggy, Ekart, Techmahindra etc types of companies are hire students for their companies. And they gives not much high packages i.e. 2.4 to 2.6 LPA to overall students. Percentage of students hired was less After graduation degree my vision was to proceed for higher degree for good future.

An government college which is budget friendly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have some vision for carrying this out. Also, I have done BCA before this and the skills are not upto the mark, and my previous good college has not provided any campus selection boot. The current faculty are well educated and experienced. You will feel familiar with them. But some are strict too. Well, that's what a familar looks like. Exam difficulty is determined by the course/syllabus and the amount of preparation you put in. The bad thing is that sometimes the examination gets postponed for some reason, and that is not good for students.

Remarks:

the campus is huge with lush greenery which has its own charm but is in the outskirts of the city which has its own pros and cons. it is a quiet place with some mesmerizing scenes but being in the outskirts one has to travel some distance for many chores.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
